Stopped by Maeve’s Place while visiting the Catskills and wow! we really enjoyed our coffee. I got the nutty white chocolate latte and it was right up my alley on sweetness to coffee ratio. The barista who made our coffee was very sweet, and she even offered to mix my coffee for me so the espresso is mixed into the drink perfectly. I wish we had enough time to stop in one more time for breakfast and coffee. Beautiful view with outdoor seating. Would definitely return!

A little 15 minute drive from Belleayre Ski mountain. The coffee was so so good! The food was delicious and the staff are so friendly. They had such cute gifts we ended up getting strawberry preserves and a ceramic mug with warmer. It was the only highlight of the trip!

The owner is really nice! There were two young boys that took care of our orders the first time we visited, and the order was late, and the macaroni was extremely salty - it tasted like pure salt. The pineapple shake was watery and tasteless.

The second time we visited, the bagel was fresh and caramel macchiato was flavorful.

I highly recommend this place, but make sure to be mindful who’s making your food. And to follow up bec. The two boys forgot our orders the first time, and we waited for a long time.

Excellent coffee. Excellent croissants. Excellent cookies. Delicious little cakes.
They have a dog menu and it is Leonberger approved.
The staff and owner are all extremely friendly and polite and I would definitely return.

What a true gem in a place where you'd least expect it. It's like walking into a coffee shop in Europe or a major city. Coffee was amazing and the food was great. The owner and her daughter were so sweet and attentive. Don't go to Phoenicia without stopping by. You won't regret it.

This place touches a very special place in my heart! Not only is the food and service outstanding, Maeve is my favorite little girl. Maeve is the daughter of the owner and has Down syndrome. You will often see Maeve there going to the back, putting on her apron and contributing to this family owned business. She loves attention, so don’t be shy, say hello to her!
Maeve’s food is outstanding, and the price is no more/no less than any other place with phenomenal ingredients and taste!
Everything is made to order and they do aim to please. The service, often local kids, are so nice, beyond pleasant!
The establishment is CLEAN, decorated with the cutest of miscellaneous from a dog bowl to Maeve’s skin care!
And on the wall is a beautiful picture of Maeve, with a history of “Maeve’s Place” and mission!

This is such an excellent find for both locals as well as anyone visiting the area (like us!). We loved the coffee shop vibe, nostalgic merchandise and plenty of Maeve's Place swag! Very good coffee, pastries and meals, plenty of seating and a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

I stop at Maeve’s every morning before work. Great coffee shop! Friendly staff! Perfectly poached eggs and breakfast sandwiches by the cook. The baked goods are out of this world!

We stopped here because Phoenicia Diner was packed, and I am so glad we did! There is a friendly atmosphere. The employees were kind and great with our children. My husband loved his grilled chicken melt. And one of the best Reubens I've ever had. The dressing was delicious, and the onions were caramelized. Highly recommend!

We happened upon Maeve’s on our way up from the Thruway to a wedding in the Catskills and were delighted with everything about it. The store is inviting and comfortable, the staff friendly and engaging, the coffee was outstanding and the bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches (on toasted croissants) were the best we’ve ever had. And all this created with the beautiful theme of honoring a special-needs child. We’re looking forward to our next chance to travel on Route 28 , just to go to Maeve’s. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
