It's my favorite place to grab drinks. I've had good experiences with their Brunch and dinner! They use peekskill coffee house for their coffee so automatically it's great. I love coming here in the morning to grab a latte and sometimes get my work done on my laptop. There wifi isn't the best or reliable some days it doesn't work but other than that it's my go to !! Staff is always so nice I love them all

i never really complain but an uncalled for terrible attitude for no reason right of the bat justifies this review. this is sunday. online it says they open at 9, but i suppose that’s just the cafe which isn’t clarified on the maps page. we got there at 10:20 and asked of the nice girl who was cleaning outside what time they start serving food, she told us 11, no problem. there were already people sitting having coffee outside so we grabbed some drinks from the cafe (so we already spent money) and decided to do the same and nobody said anything. didn’t realize there was limitations to their outdoor seating apparently. it’s 11:15 now and the host finally comes over with her bun wound as tightly as her attitude and asks us if we got here early and we say yes. she asks us if we have a reservation, and we reply no. her response is “well we have a lot of reservations and since you guys just decided to sit i’ll see if i can spare you a server.” ew. wow. definitely some hospitality training necessary there. “a lot of reservations”, meanwhile, only 8 out of 20 outside tables are occupied, including us, at not even 12:00 when we left. so an hour into opening and at no point did more than half the tables become occupied. wouldn’t say the place is jumpin by any means. maybe the inside was busier or maybe they were down a server but i have a truly hard time believing that with clearly very little reservations our one table made such a difference. our server was pleasant, no complaints about her, but there wasn’t much room for change from the menu, no modifications. and i’m not even talking about substitutions but asking for things without onions or red peppers is apparently not allowed because everything is pre prepped. that’s…questionable... and if that’s the case i’m not sure why it took so long for us to get our food which was at 11:42, we were done eating AND paid by 11:53, so we were out in 10 minutes after being made to feel like an inconvenience by the hostess. i would’ve received more pleasant service and at least been able to order my food without onions if i went to a fast food place so i’ll go there next time. oh, and the food was cold.

Glad this space has been reopened since 10 yrs ago. To sit outside and with the ambiance of the Hudson River/Valley is 2nd to none. Food surprisingly good .

All I can say is WOW!!!!! We were a party of 3 for dinner and all had fabulous meals! My son and I both had the New York strip, olive oil smashed potatoes and seared green beans. I can’t remember ever having a more perfectly prepared, delicious steak in a restaurant (that’s saying a lot). It was so tender I would have thought it was a filet. My husband also loved his Moroccan chicken sandwich and fries. I’m guessing that anything you order will be delish and the chef came to our table personally to check on our experience. Definitely get a reservation though, it’s not a huge place. Parking is easy and the space is cool - it’s an old train station that’s next to the actual train but it’s not overwhelmingly loud at all. We’ll be back!

I absolutely loved my experience! Music was on point and food was excellent. My cappuccino was too die for. I will be back again soon!

Its really and service its great. It has 2 kitchens but I would like to see more selection on alcohol. Its next to the train station.

I’m glad Peekskill finally got a business to fill in at the RailRoad station but it seems to be an extension of Birdsall in town.
The staff was amazing! Super nice and attentive even when they were swamped- Patatas Bravas are my go to and the burger is the value of the bunch- perfectly executed like at Birdsall.
Dropped a star because we felt it’s was a bit on the pricier side.

Love that this space is being used again in the old train station. The cheddar chive scone and the pickle & pig sandwich were tasty

Absolutely delicious pain au chocolat and rich, flavorful espresso (cappucino). Nice decor and would recommend anyone taking MNR to Peekskill for hiking or otherwise to check this place out! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend this enough!
