Cafe Kubal

The BEST coffee!! The employees are SO incredibly sweet and very knowledgeable in their craft. I’m usually a starbucks person and our closest one is in fayetteville, I tried Cafe Kubal once and was IMMEDIATELY hooked!! Such amazing coffee and the quality speaks for itself. I love getting the iced pour-over with brazil and vanilla! I’m not normally an iced coffee kind of gal, but I’m seriously so addicted to these it’s unreal!

Place is awesome, coffee is great, the people are a little rude. Today, the the young gentleman working on 12,29 came from the kitchen to save help and was awesome however the young lady at the front was overwhelmed & abrasive.

This place is amazing. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee is astounding. So many options. The whole environment there could best be described as clean and cozy.

Unfortunately a bad experience. I was the only customer in there with 3 employees. I ordered 2 large drinks, got charged for 2 large ones but received 2 medium ones. Since he drinks were already done, I did not want to make a fuss so I paid for the large ones and just took the medium ones. After I left the store I realized that they forgot to put in the milk that I had asked for. So I went back in and received some milk from an almost empty container. Then I left the store again. After about a 5 minute walk I took a first sip from one of the drinks and noticed that the milk had gone extremely bad, my wife confirmed that and we had to toss the coffee in the trash. I did not care about a refund and did not want to go back to get new drinks. However I called the store so that the next customer does not get any bad milk in their drink. However the employee got defensive on the phone: She did not offer a refund or new drink and not even to check the milk. She just told me that the milk cannot be bad, it is always farm fresh and normal that it curdles. So I have it definitely wrong according to her. Unfortunately I will not be back after this.

You can now only pay on a screen. The workers were just watching me order by myself on the screen- weird. Scone that I ordered tasted a little burnt. I also noticed their prices are a bit higher than the other local cafes.

Friendly staff serving up delicious drinks; I walked in a few weeks ago for the first time and Amanda remembered my exact order the way I always used to get it at the Creekwalk location. The atmosphere of the Manlius location is very inviting and gives a new meaning to the term 'adaptive reuse'; how absolutely clever to turn the old bank teller car ports into a covered patio! I travel around town for work, and it's been a treat being in the Manlius area these last few weeks and stopping into the cafe.

The shop has a great upstairs space for more private conversations and a positive environment. The quality coffee and great food are a plus too!

It's the best setting I've been in was taken back on how relaxed and comfortable it was.
