Normally love hope cafe. Unfortunately had a poor experience. Ordered a southwest bowl with grilled chicken added. The chicken came out very cold and had a slightly mushy texture and the flavor more like canned chicken. I have ordered grilled chicken in the past here and it was great. Not sure when the chicken changed 👎. I brought meal up to front counter to question the chicken and the cashier was not the friendliest ( never had this happen before ) and offered no other advice other than to say the chicken has always been like that at this location.

Do yourself a favor and support this fantastic local business!! The food is AH-MAZ-ing. The breakfast sandwiches: savory, gooey delights oozing cheese and that delicious house-made sauce with crispy bacon and perfectly cooked eggs nestled on pillowy, soft, angelic panini toasted to buttery perfection. The tater tots with house sauce put every other potato product you've ever had to shame. The tots themselves are crispy and airy light, the house sauce is so deliciously savory with just the right amount of spice; it's one of the most amazing condiments I've ever had. You'll want to bathe in it! And finally, the sprinkling of scallions on top sets it off perfectly. The quinoa bowls are made perfectly with sweet, nutty, grains, a generous serving of whatever protein you choose, and again, the best sauces. And oh sweet baby Jesus, the smoothies. Fresh, fruity, creamy, light and refreshing, they're like your reward for living a good life. Soooooooo delicious. Finally, the staff are always wonderful and friendly, which is SO important and appreciated! And did I mention, totally reasonable priced for the generous portions?
So yes, people of Liverpool (and beyond), you need to go to HERE! so much better than the chains. Thank you, Hope Cafe!

First off. As of Aug. 2021. Searching for the name of the restaurant brings you to their OLD LOCATION. Yelp sends you to the correct location. Google must have the address entered not the name. They moved according to the locals to what used be a burger joint. If you call their phone number listed eventually you get a text message giving you info on their news location.
So after the hunt, the restaurant has parking. Interesting set up because of what it used to be. Very nice cozy feel to it. Order at the front with the menu written out. Drinks were great, food was excellent. I had the Chicharrón Panini and it was delicious! Tables were clean, no sticky feeling to them. You get your own utensils at their designated areas, water is also provided there. The restrooms were clean. The staff is very nice as well. Overall positive experience and if possible I’d like to stop by again on my way back home.

First timer. Came with my daughter last Saturday. Ordered a sandwich, fries and a hot chocolate for her. Nice sandwich, nice atmosphere. Sat on the patio. Hot chocolate was a bit too hot. Gave it a minute. She then picked it up and the cover came off and it spilled all over her. She started to scream and I rushed inside for cold water to pour over her. The other patrons outside barely paused their conversation. I packed up hurriedly to take her to the urgent care. Informed the front cashier that my daughter's hot chocolate had spilled all over her. "Don't worry I'll take care of it" (i.e the mess). Not a word about if the weeping child was okay. Must have been an off day at your place. For what it's worth, nice breakfast sandwich, but bad overall experience.

Hope Cafe is my favorite place to go for breakfast! Their egg sandwich with their homemade sauces is the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Do yourself a favor and skip the chain restaurants when you're in the area, this place has great food and is doing GREAT things for the local community and beyond!

Breakfast sandwich was hot and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. My wife (has Celiac disease) was able to get gluten free food that was wonderful. And, the profits go to a good cause.
What more could you ask for??

Stopped for lunch. Super relaxing atmosphere. Had a chicken panini with bacon jam. So good. My friend had soup she enjoyed. I splurged on a bloodied and it was great. I will return.

This is such a charming place! There is a bookshelf in the back that they allow you to read in the shop, it even take with you. My daughter found the collection she really wanted to take on our trip, but was unable to get before we left so that was very cool. We left a few books in exchange. Worth stopping in at least once. Such a great place with a great cause.

Sandwiches were average, coffee was not good. Food was cold (reheated?). People who served were nice, and the interior wasn’t bad. Just didn’t live up to the hype.
There are roasters in East Syracuse with much better coffee.
