Adirondack Corner Store

This place is fantastic! Stopped here after an ems transport to Lake Placid on a recommendation from my husband. Sandwiches are huge and delicious and done quickly. Staff was beyond amazing. Will definitely be returning when I am in Placid again!

Ordered a classic italian sub. Very little meat and the bread was hard as a rock. My first time here and probably my last.

We were so grateful to come across this spot during our stay in Lake Placid. Perfect place to grab a muffin, coffee, and newspaper while sitting outside and enjoying the mountain air. The fruit and yogurt parfaits were also delicious! We had our black lab with us and every morning she was greeted by a hello & a bone (they are incredibly dog friendly) and were so kind to her (which meant so much to us)! Great experience!

If you are looking for a great sub north of exit 24, this is your spot!! Very friendly staff, clean store and great selection of beer!!

Place is really nice with a selection of beer, snacks and items to order, like sandwiches. Don't go to the door with the address 188 next to the door, a hostile gentleman will tell you it's a private residence. Though the store's address is 188, do not make this mistake. The hostile gentleman will be most displeased.

The biggest mistake I made during my Lake Placid vacation was not stopping in here first! Really impressed by the variety of products and how exceptionally tidy and clean the store is. The Italian sub was everything you want it to be: filling, fresh, and flavorful. The shepherd's pie was decent enough for the price, and hey, who wants to cook after driving home for 6 hours?

Best place in LP for a bite to eat. Great sandwiches and the Fries are on point. Very friendly staff, highly recommend them when your in town.

We have vacationed as a family in Lake Placid for years and I have solo backpacked all over the immediate area. I've driven by this store easily dozens of times without giving it a second thought. Big mistake! My wife and I stopped in for lunch after reading a positive post in a hiking forum.
This will be one of my top considerations for meals going ahead. Our sandwiches were fresh and tasted great. I also like the way we ordered our food. Take a "menu", write your name on the top put a checkmark next to what you want (ham, sub roll, lettuce). This was a great find.

Best Turkey club in town. No joke! Not only do they have the friendliest employees, the best baker lady ( omg her cheesecake 😍) but the crew in the back totally makes the best Phatty Sammys in the village 😉. It's like the local cheers. Everybody knows your name 😊 and takes care of you like your local. I Am 🙃

Best sandwiches in the area, best staff as well. My dog knows every time we go near the corner store, he is going to get a cookie and a pet from our favorite ladies behind the counter
