We selected this place to sit down and stay for a little while, drinking coffee and maybe getting a little work done, but the coffee tasted burnt and we ended up barely drinking it. Also, the Internet was so slow we couldn’t open any web pages or do the most basic tasks (like check email). The place itself is kinda cute and the owner was friendly and willing to allow us to use our reusable coffee mugs which was appreciated.

We came here for breakfast on our first day in Lake Placid. It was next door to our hotel and I read online that they allow dogs. Not everywhere is keen on allowing our 85 pound dog inside so we were thankful that we found somewhere so close. We ordered two of the breakfast croissants which were absolutely delicious, a pumpkin latte and a maple latte. There was only one man running the show but service was still quick and he was friendly. I would recommend this place for a quick bite or hot cup of coffee. I loved the decor inside, it’s quaint and cozy.

I was looking forward to trying this coffee shop during our stay in Lake Placid and it did not disappoint. Places like this are what I love about traveling. I appreciate that it's not trying to be a trendy coffee shop. But it is filled with charm none the less. I got a delicious pumpkin latte and the service was friendly. The man making our coffee had a warmth to him and we wished we could stay longer. Would highly recommend. 🍁🍂

I wasn't impressed with the little cafe or the food. My wife and I stopped by early on a Wednesday for a coffee and a quick bite. The man behind the counter was courteous, but not overly helpful or friendly. I ordered a coffee and a Danish looking item, not sure what it would be called exactly. My wife had a hot chocolate and a muffin. Both items were cold and hard, and we had to ask for them to be warmed. I didn't eat the Danish, after the first bite. It wasn't acceptable. The decor looks as though someone's not sure what kind of business they want to run, as the mixture of items makes you wonder what the purpose of the business is. Overall it was a disappointing visit.

Such a nice quaint little coffee shop. Owner is overly nice and the croissant sandwiches are absolutely amazing!

I always wondered about this coffee shop as I have often passed by it. Today, three of us stopped in and I am sorry to say we were disappointed. To start, the barista was not friendly or welcoming. My friend wanted a chai latte and I decided to try one myself for the first time, as I already had a double espresso in the morning. Sad to say, the chai lattes were sickening sweet. I thought it was the customer who decided on the sugar. We were never asked our preference. In any case, my friend did not drink his and placed it in the trash and I forced my down. It was regrettable. The only person who enjoyed a drink got a fruit juice in a bottle. I will not return, as there are better options elsewhere.

I visited Lake Placid last week with my sister. We selected this place for breakfast as it had some good reviews. However, the prices are extremely high. I had a custom sandwich which was just one slice of sourdough bread and one egg for $7.95. My sister had the croissant sandwich which was nothing to rave about. We shared one large pumpkin latte which was okay, but we found it quite expensive for 7.95. The pumpkin latte at Starbucks is so good and costs less. Our total bill was almost 25$! Exorbitant!
The next day we decided to have breakfast at our hotel, the Crowne Plaza. We had double the quantity of eggs and toasted bread and coffee and were surprised when we got our bill which was only 10.80! for two people.
I would not go back to this place if visiting Lake Placid again.

A cute and quiet coffee place. A good place to relax over a cup of coffee and a muffin.

The food here is fantastic - possibly the best breakfast burrito with sausage I've ever had. The blueberry scone, brownie and banana bread are fantastic. Espresso was delicious. Whole place was cozy and awesome. Loved it, highly recommend!

Very cute. Good coffee and food. One person working so it's a bit slow, but yall are on vacation so relax and let him do his job. Better than him microwaving processed food - you can watch him make your meal. For those complaining about masks or prices get over it. Clearly your skiing at whiteface or staying in a fancy hotel so you can probably afford a local coffee. Small businesses staying open over the past year hasn't been easy so we dont know what this place may have gone through.
