Caffe Vero

This became our go-to spot while in Lake George. It can get a little crowded in the entry where orders take place, but once you're seated they'll bring your food to you. The hand pies were fantastic! Pro-tip: if you ask, they'll give you real maple syrup.

Really like this place. Food is great and so is the atmosphere. They make their own coffee. Met the owner or one of them who is excellent. Military friendly place gotta go here. Caramel cappuccino was amazing. One of the best I’ve ever had.

Absolutely outstanding! My friend and I stopped in for breakfast. Delicious! I had the homemade corned beef special with eggs and a bagel, all, AMAZING! I brought home a chocolate croissant and a Samoa scone for my husband, who was delighted with both. Cafe Vero is a definite must do when in the Lake George area.

It was a cold day as we waited to check in. Stopped by on a whim. Our party order hot chocolate, americano, and a cappuccino. Then a samosa scone called our name. Soft and sweet, pure bliss. It wasn’t super busy on the eat side, we sat down to enjoy. I was happy we weren’t asked to leave, and that we could sit and drink our hot beverages.

A nice spot around lake George to have a meal. The sandwiches are delicious. We had Grilled Chicken Sandwich (it was extraordinary!!) and Lucille (was a bit salty but still good).
You can dine-in ; the social distancing is perfectly managed. It's a good place to go especially on the hot summer days.

Excellent customer service where the employees were very friendly yet professional! Food was amazing for the price! The place is very neat and clean and (our visit was during the COVID-19 pandemic) seating was spaced out to follow the safety mandate.

I got really good food here and really great coffee. All three waitresses we had upon our 3 visits were very kind. They even let me use the bathroom later on after having breakfast there our last stay. Do not skip out on the chocolate and strawberry coffee, the mushroom soup, or the pumpkin pancakes with homemade pecan butter! If we visit Lake George again I want to stay closer to this restaurant!

We usually stop here on the way back from camping, but won’t be anymore. Greek omelette had exactly 3 cubes of feta and the tomatoes and spinach were thrown in without barley being cooked. Also, I tried calling them to order ahead and nobody picked up the phone for 40 mins. When I arrived and asked if their phone was working, it was VERY clear that they unplugged it so that someone could charge their cell phone instead. It was not busy AT ALL inside btw. Not sure why everything was an absolute mess.
