Truly a wonderful, intimate and relaxing cat cafe. I usually enjoy a latte when I stop by and they even have a food menu. The atmosphere is always pleasant and relaxing. The staff are all very friendly and if you love cats this is truly a great experience featuring a large cat room to view and play with the cats that are up for adoption.

The Alley Cat Cafe feels more like a home than a business. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed; the patrons and staff are a family brought together by a mutual love of coffee and cats.
It's a cozy place, not cramped, and the assortment of chairs and tables won't leave you wanting for a seat that suits you.
The drinks are delicious-- try the Cat Lady for the perfect blend of lavender and mocha-- and the cat rooms are well kept, full of toys, perches, beds, and of course the adorable little fuzzballs themselves. There's a huge variety of awesome cat merch: beanies, stickers, mugs, cat toys and beds, and branded shirts for those who want to rep. Proceeds go to the Browncoat cat rescue.
All-in-all a lovely space staffed by lovely people and well worth a visit!

The Alley Cat Café combines the pleasures of good food (with vegan options!), good coffee, and cats! The staff was super polite and friendly. They have great sandwich options and though I'm not much of a coffee/tea connoisseur, my brother that attended Ithaca College swears by this place. It's a great relaxing environment to get some work done or relax and the best part is that you can pay a few bucks to spend some quality time with some lovely felines.

I love this place. Good coffee great selection of Teas nice atmosphere and in addition the opportunity to play with kittens and cats some of whom are also available for adoption! It doesn't get much better than this. And the money you spend there is helping to support the whole wonderful enterprise. My new favorite place in Ithaca.

The cats are very fun to play with! And the coffee was actually really good, too; good enough that I'd come here for coffee even without the added selling point of the adorable, adoptable cats in the back. I like that there's a room that doesn't let small kids in, too, so that you can get some time with a chiller cat without feeling bad about taking them away from the younger kids.

Great food and coffee with the added bonus of cats! Soft, furry, purring, adorable cats. And, most of the time they are available for adoption. A small cover to go visit the cats, but they can be viewed in their room from the outside too. An added bonus is that the owner, Kristin also runs a feral rescue service, so she's doing a lot more good than simply serving up coffee and Cats. 😸

Great cafe. It’s nice and cozy inside, and the employees are all very nice. Comfortable seating, and their tea lattes are good. Just a great local business, and I have and will recommend them.

As someone who is a regular turned into volunteer, I can confidently say that this is one of the best spots in town. They have a number if healthy vegetarian and vegan meal options, a great selection of yummy beverages, and you know your money will go to a good place. As someone who is a busy researcher/grad student, I found that it's a great place to stress over work then destress with cats.

Amazing coffee! Friendly and wonderful staff. And cats to entertain! Already planning our next visit

We went there just to play with some cats. It's $5 per person to enter the cat areas. There are 2 rooms, one with chill cats and one with higher energy cats. I believe you can adopt these cats too but definitely ask the employees there about that. The cafe itself was decent sized.
