REV Coffee

Wednesday afternoon in Hudson downtown: Wow, we walked all the way up from Hudson River and there was not a single café open around 5.00 p.m. But then, luckily, before we wanted to head back to our car we found this wonderful café. Big pleasure to relax in the fine and cozy furnished place for cake and coffee. :)

Drinks were good but… When my friends and i walked in there was no greeting no hello or nothing. We order our drinks and the barista just looked miserable and continued to roll her eyes and say nothing. The place was empty and no one there besides us so It was not like we were interrupting her servicing other customers. When my friend decided to order her next drink, before the barista even made the drink my friend asked for a different milk and she rolls her eyes again and said “yup” in a rude manner. After that we canceled our order and left. Definitely won’t be returning until costumer service needs are met.

These days of a fast moving world, one could travel 2 hours up the Hudson from New York City to see the world as it used to be, spend the night in a comfortable hotel, and in the morning go to REV for coffee, in a quaint home like atmosphere get a powerful takeoff espresso. I never thought that I would make it through the day until after I exchanged with a pleasant woman and a donut, and these donuts are amazing. It's the one two punch the coffee the smiling barista, and the donut .. then I'm ready for anything because I'm a photographer and Hudson is a photographer paradise

The best coffee in Hudson, Jerry always makes me a perfect Cuban. Great cookies too. My #1 favorite coffee shop and place to relax in town.

Absolutely love their coffee and is very LQBtQ Community friendly! A great place to just vibe and chill with your friends. Also recommended study spot!

REV is a cute local coffee shop with a lovely atmosphere. It's a great place to hang out and chat or to sit and write. I've been visiting here since 2018, and the drinks and food I've had so far have been good, especially the scones and the chocolate egg cream. I just wish they'd replace or restuff the couch and the corner chair in the front room. The couch in front of the window sags so much that my back hurts after sitting there.

Been in Hudson for a year and a half and finally checked this place out recently. Was not disappointed. Great selection of teas (not a coffee drinker). And they had yummy cookies and scones. The vibe is very chill, lots of cool, old Victorian furniture, and plenty of places to sit. A wide variety of people just doing their own thing or having quiet conversations. Very cool place. Will definitely be returning.

I have never left a review before but I feel like I need to do this! I just went into this coffee shop for the first time with my fiancé and the barista was extremely rude, impatient and just made us feel uncomfortable. I’m not quite sure the meaning behind it and would love to chalk it up to them having a bad day but I truly hope this review opens their eyes to customer service. I got so nervous to order while they stared at me…I got a black americano and have never even gotten that in my life. Just wanted to get out of there! Yikes! I then thought I might as well add milk and she was NOT happy about that. Even tried to leave a tip on the card to over compensate because I felt I did something to upset them and they mumbled something and shooed me off. Truly hope they learn from this.

Their food/sweets options are quite inviting but I did not find any Vegan options in their offerings.
The Stuff is very polite and extremely helpful.
I love the " Drawing room " atmosphere and those inviting sofas! A wonderful place to enjoy a good coffee and more!

This is where I get my coffee and relax when I wake up in a strangers home in Hudson. The environment is calm, classy and comfortable. With lots of couches, good music, excellent product & service, you can't go wrong . Plus, the owner is a delightful little ginger who happens to be king of cuddles. I love you, Jerry bomb.
