I rolled into town later in the evening one day while riding my bike from Buffalo to Albany. Staying the night at the lock. Was looking for a place to get food. Very pleased when I saw this store. Said to myself while riding up, "Please have beer!". They did and have a section where the ladies will make you huge and awesome sub sandwiches. I got to the campsite and thought it would nice to get some firewood. Called back over and asked if they had any. She said they normally do, but had sold out. Then told her over the phone how much I enjoyed my sandwich. Stopped back in the morning for another sandwich before getting on the road. If you're riding your bicycle on the Erie Canal Trail or NY Bike Rt 5 and are staying at the lock these guys have you covered and I fully recommend a stop. Only a couple blocks from the campsite or right off the trail. Just want to tell them to always have firewood. I know it's tough to control what outside venders can deliver to them. So I don't hold it against them and didn't take any Stars off.
I love "my" Stewart's and the people who work there. They always make sure there is plenty of coffee ready, are very helpful if their help is needed, super friendly, and hard workers.
I enjoy Stewart's in every aspect there is. But when it comes to making pizza. Noone knows how to cook it long enough. And half the time they never cut it.. wishing someone would take their job seriously
I tried to call to order a pizza for over 10 minutes calling and calling and no one answers the phone. I don’t live far from the store and can see the lot out my window and it’s not even busy in the parking lot.. other times I’ve went into the store for milk and there would be 3 workers on duty and there would be no gallons of milk on the shelf but crates of it inside the cooler. Very sad store
Very poor service. No good food. Everybody yells at you as soon as you walk in the door to put a mask on. They don't ask they yell at you till you put one on. Besides their gas is way to expensive
