A treasure in Delhi NY, Tay Tea elevates the tea drinking traditions to ritual status. Meeting Nini in her beautiful shop, I was swept up in the passion with which she creates her teas. Her selection of botanicals, handmade, local and sustainably sourced, expertly hand blended on site, organic, therapeutic and fragrant floral, leaf, twig, and root combinations are exquisite, uplifting, and magical…..Tay Tea is a wonderful destination in the Catskills.

Every visit is always warm and welcoming. Nini's tea are fabulous. None compare (and I like tea!). My entire family has become a tea family thanks to the delicious blends at Tay Tea. There is literally a tea for everyone's taste. Pictures include just a few.

Absolutely the best store ever! For unique delicious teas, hand-blended by the Queen, Nini Ourdubadi, herself. Eclectic fashion pieces and loads of other items great for gifts or just to splurge on yourself!

Wonderful selection of crafted teas in addition to a sweet collection of tea infusion pots, mugs and other fun home decor. Some gorgeous colorful Eastern wear. Owner and staff were helpful and genuine!

Nini, the owner, is such a cool cat and this is a truly glitzy and unique shopping experience. Her tea blends are just beyond. Perfect for gifts or treating yourself. Also beautiful jewelry, pottery, clothes, etc. Thank you for the wonderful tea and stories, Nini!

500🌟's‼ This is simply THE best tea shop, anywhere! These handcrafted teas w/ingredients grown locally & globally are made into custom blends that are just delectable, AND healthy! The owner Nini is a true artist & a delight to know - her depth of knowledge & abiding passion for her work is so inspiring. It's bc of her I became a tea drinker nearly 10 yrs ago! Altho I usually order online, I'm also lucky to be able to visit her in Delhi, NY a cpl times a yr when visiting relatives nearby in the beautiful dairy cntry of Catskill Mts. (just there last wknd♡). Her lovely shop is filled w/beautiful displays & an amazing selection of teas, + all you could want in accessories. She also sells a wide array of other products, including unique cookbooks, (I just bought one on Persian cooking!), exotic clothing, perfumes, beauty creams/products, etc., w/ingredients often obtained during her global travels - all handcrafted w/top-notch organic, wholesome ingredients.

Wonderful shop with a beautiful selection of tea and gifts -- jewelry, clothing, tea-making essentials, fresh bread, and treats. Nicole, who was tending the counter, was very helpful and enjoyable to chat with. **Favorite Tay tea: Kyoto (Green with cherry blossoms and rose pedals). Also, great online store.

The owner Nini is a lovely welcoming woman. The shop is delightful beautiful clothing and jewelry from all around the world and the teas smell and taste great. Very worth the visit!

Visiting Tay Tea is not simply shopping and shouldn't even be defined as such.

It's a visit with a best friend that you met just today and that friend wants nothing more than to make sure you are happy and cared for.

It's an education about teas, flavors you've never tasted, aromas that last forever, history you can't imagine, and health that will be connected to the tea.

It's an adventure to far away places and a personal introduction to important figures that you will likely never get to meet in person.

It's the feeling of plush comforting fabrics on your skin. Something you try on and are amazed, and a bit surprised, at just how good you look in it.

And then there's Nini... the imagainer, the creator, the curator, the overseer of all this.

She is a seemingly tireless whirlwind; the very source of positive energy. She is part tea party hostess, part sage, part healer, part teacher and mentor, with just a little bit of your mom's best attributes thrown into all of that.

"Shopping" at Tay Tea is always an education and a bit entertainment. You won't just walk away with the perfect tea and the most beautiful scarf, but you'll realize that you're experiencing that feeling that your life will begin anew, fresh, and full of hope, the moment you take your last sip of one of the awesome teas that Nini has poured for you to try.

Truth be told... she may actually insist! that you try them! :-)

And she won't be wrong! And you'll be the better for it.

True tranquility, small shop of good quality teas. Owner and tea master, Nini, is a delight. Unfortunately, Tay's is only open on weekends or by appointment. But the Kyoto tea alone is worth a visit.
