Matters Coffee

The staff is so friendly and all the drinks I’ve tried here are really good! My favorite so far is the raspberry cold foam berry tea. I’m looking forward to trying even more! :)
Also, they have a really nice lounge area and the aesthetic is just… wow. 100/10 😍

I love the positive energy walking in and being greeted by such nice baristas. I feel like croton needed a nice modern coffee shop with great energy and vibes. The music is so nice and love the lounge area. The coffee is so delish, that I look forward to coming in the next morning for another cup.Jordan makes sure that I get exactly what I want (being needy that I am lol )and she makes my son the best chocolate milk. We both love coming here=) I’m so happy to have this new place to come and relax in the morning.

The staff is always friendly, and the lattes are consistently well made. (I haven't had their regular coffee, just lattes) I can't imagine they do any baking on site, but I've had scones they sell there that were really delicious. They have a small selection of baked goods like muffins, the aforementioned scones, cookies, etc. It seems the selection is different daily. Though I haven't taken advantage, there is a really nice area in the back section of the shop where people can sit down and enjoy their coffee. There is a convenient and clean restroom as well. Being an evening coffee drinker, I do wish they were open later. I'm usually done with work between 4-5, and they close at 5 on most days, so it's hard for me to catch them open.

My train got cancelled due to a snow storm and I was stranded with my cat. I had nowhere else to go and the staff at matters let us stay for hours. We had great food and drinks, and friendly conversation. Jess, the barista, went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. I was welcomed with kindness when I needed it most. Great people. Great coffee. Turned a miserable experience into a reminder that people can be good and take care of each other.

Their Chai is amazing! My new obsession.

Great to have another coffee shop in town! Matters is so clean and modern - with good wifi and lots of outlets. Will be a regular for sure.

The best coffee shop around! Excellent coffee and the staff and owners are just as wonderful! They are always attentive to my dietary needs when it comes to thinking of a new drink for me since I usually like try different things rather than a usual. They are informative, knowledgeable about their products, and really care about the customer. It is also a beautiful atmosphere and very, very clean! So glad this place is here!!

Very friendly staff. There is a comfy lounge in the back to hang out in. I tried a hot pumpkin chai and a cold chai, both were good.

A true coffee bar and great addition to Croton. It’s clear that the owners are passionate about their product and know how to craft a great espresso drink. The back room has ample space to work (with strong wifi and outlets) or hang out with friends.

Lucky find as I'm not fond of Dunkin. This place started up only about 2 months ago. I met the owner on my first visit and I've stopped in twice since. Nice guy, friendly staff, great coffee and baked goods. I hope they do well for many years.
