Incredible. I drove more than 3 hours and was beyond blown away. The meal was scrumptious. The service was great and friendly. The carrot cake was one of the best that I have ever eaten. The cream cheese was so light. They served a matcha latte that was so good that I want to find the recipe. We even took home some desert.
Now let's talk about the herbarium that this restaurant was. I felt as if I was eating in a jungle. So many large ferns, figs, dracaena, tradescantia and other plants typically grown outdoors. It was a greenhouse and it had a skylight, so the plants weren't just there as decorations; they were fully integrated. Whether you eat inside or outside, you will notice the calm that the greenery brings. You can even buy some of the plants in the restaurant, except for their favorites. I bought a very reasonably priced Myrtillocactus.
