This is a review for mail order pies: due to the current virus situation, I ordered pies from Pieconic. While they shipped it for 2-day delivery, it went to MA and NJ before getting to my house after 4 days. My worries that the pies would be broken and moldy were completely unfounded though understandable. I was very impressed at how they were packaged to ensure that the crust wouldn't break. Pieconic ships them frozen. Though they were thawed by the time I got them, they were solidly packed with filling, not like the grocery store pies where a quarter of the filling is runny. We got the bourbon chocolate pecan and the balsamic mixed berry pies. Deep panned and a beautiful lattice top. My wife says "they're insane" in a good way. My mouth was too full to reply! Treat yourself to some Pieconic pie. A pleasant distraction to the world today.

We rushed into Pieconic last Tuesday just as they had closed but the owner cheerily welcomed us in and served us terrific tasting pasties, cookies, brownies and iced coffees and made us feel welcome in a genuine way. Loved the fresh melt-in-your-mouth pastry of the cheeseburger pasty, homemade and delicious as could be.
We were traveling through but will gladly stop by earlier the next time. We spent a good amount of time trying to talk the owner into moving to downtown Yonkers where we live.

I have family in Chatham NY and have been to Pieconic several times. Today I went for breakfast and it was delicious. I had the CK’s Texas Scramble which was eggs, potatoes, bacon and black beans. I will come here all the time. I can’t wait to try the pies they look so good it will take time for me to make a choice. Highly recommend and the staff is polite, professional and most of all friendly and makes you feel welcome!!!

While visiting my childhood town of Chatham, I immediately looked for a place to grab breakfast and coffee. I'm glad I found this place. The food was fantastic but not nearly as memorable as the open and kind people I found there. I was greeted warmly by Nicole and when I came back the next day, she knew me by name. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. I wish them many years of success. Next time I visit my hometown, I will certainly stop in!
