Foods chill and I know it's covid, but I think pastries would taste better coming from paper bag instead of plastic çontainer. But you know, still very good, just like would maybe buy more things if so much plastic wasn't involved.... Maybe glass cake displays with tongs into a paper bag?

My daughter and I love this place. We travel a distance to go there , always worth it to us. Laid back, lovely people, great food with Vegan options, fresh juices . Outside seating when appropriate weather

Visited the area for a weekend of relaxation and quietness when I happened to find this café location. Atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Don't usually travel this far north but when I do I will definitely come back to this location.

The food is so so ,American over sweetened and not organic.. This is not the kind of place you drive two hours from Manhattan to get farm to table food. This place with its dirty display of floury foods and pilsbury quality cookies with artificial ingredients and even the vegan food is horrible. Don't have the soup! This place does not represent Hudson Valley at all.It is very misleading and mediocre .

Plus side, pies are extremely good. Minus side, selection can be spotty, and the owner (at least I think he was the owner) seems to feel like customers are an imposition on his business.

They make the best bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. Whatever bacon they use is just unbelievably good. Best bacon egg and cheese I’ve ever had. Going to keep coming back.

Pretty small but popular. I got pancakes that were burnt and raw simultaneously and we also tried a scramble that was very good.

Wonderful warm friendly service. I immediately felt welcome. The staff is always happy to help, going above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. Everyone can find something to eat, wether its a health juice, or a slice of delicious pie.

I obviously made a poor choice. I bought a apple pie to bring to a dinner party. Unfortunately, no one was impressed. Neither the crust nor the filling made the pie worth eating. Everyone left part of their pieces over as it had no taste. We even fought over who would get to keep the left over pie. I made sure my hosts kept it and I am sure it ended up in the garbage. I could have bought a better pie at the local grocery shop. It was $25 poorly spent.

I went back and took the owner’s up on their offer. The owner’s are wonderful. I tied a couple of pies and found the brown sugar one to be delicious. Give it a try.

Expensive, the cost does not match the quality. Priced well to appeal to customers looking to spend a little more for a great lunch, it just missed the mark. I would try it again someday when I'm bored of my regular options but I wouldn't recommend it.
