What a quaint cafe serving lovely tasting paninis with just a smudge of salad. It is perfect. The dressing on the salad is very good….but the best was….

THE PECAN BOURBON BAR…to die for!!! I need that recipe. If I can’t have it, please tell me who makes them. I will order them. So, so delicious!!!

Thanks for a lovely and yummy time.

PS. Met the nicest patron…a young girl from caz, college…just charming and with her cute boyfriend !!Fun

A great place to stop in for a filling sandwich and soup. The daily specials include types of tea, sandwiches, and soups. Every experience I have had here has been fantastic.

The employees are laid back and listen to what you want instead of staring you down as you decide what you want. Fresh baked goods are available and all their food is made fresh the day before or that morning.

A lot of their options cater toward vegans but they can be modified if you ask; Even if you may not be vegans, they are still enjoyable!

Great food. Latte tasted. Pumpkin soup was the best I've tried. But the grilled chicken was a bit dry. Loved the beet and carrots wrap. Order online, they don't allow any people inside.

For the most part this was exactly what it looked like from Yelp and their own website: coffee shop / bistro of the type easily found in larger cities like San Francisco and more cosmopolitan small cities like Ithaca (and not so easy to find in most of upstate NY). The bread is definitely a cut above average.

If sounds like what you want, you won't really be disappointed.

I took one star off because neither I nor the person with me picked up readily on the cues: which door to enter, whether the server would come to our table (no, not to take the order or bring the drinks; but yes, to bring the sandwiches) or whether it was up to us to add cream as desired (yes).

These are not fatal problems but they did distract from the experience. I would try painting the wrong door a darker color and the right door a brighter color, moving the condiments to be more visible as you order, and trying for a prominent sign that says "Order here first."

Pewter Spoon has become a definitive stop in the Central New York area. It is a cozy cafe with strong baking and cooking. It is run by the very friend Carmeli family. Beware, as customer lines are frequent. There is nice seating inside, and some tables outside. They offer a good to-go service. And you can have frequent sightings of local celebrities here.
Here is my older review from 5 years ago- Pewter Spoon offers an impressively consistent environment for coffee, tea, and food that is tasty. Look out for the breakfast Ciabattas such as the Peppery and the Southwestern. They are tasty and satisfying. Baked products are very good, as is the coffee.

I walked in to order two sandwiches to go. It took 45 minutes from the time I left my car to the time I got back to my car and i was parked right out front. I was told that each sandwich is made fresh which is good but it still should not have taken 45 minutes to make 2 simple sandwiches. I will never go hear for food and probably won't even go for coffee.

Great coffee, love the Granny salad. Legitimately delicious cold brew as well. Service is occasionally a little less than outstanding, but it's a great people watching post up near the windows.

the best panini sandwiches I've ever had. their coffee is one of the bests as well.
very nice environment, music is very chill and staff are super nice. I can eat here every day, very meal.

Super tasty sandwiches for lunch!

Very cute place, both the food and coffee are excellent. If I have to say anything bad it's that it's always quite busy when I go in so sometimes it's a long-ish wait (just goes to show how good it is though) :-).
