Can’t say enough about this sweet little cafe. The moment you walk in, you see all the perfect pastry lined up in a case to choose your hearts desire! The bagel sandwich I had was probably the best Ive ever had, perfectly cooked egg, perfect bagel...and the best cup of coffee on the whole trip to Lake George. I know it sounds dramatic but it was that good if you appreciate food that is loved. Please keep continuing creating perfection in this small Bolton Landing gem!! So glad we found you!

Good little breakfast spot, coffee is amazing. The Bear Claw, BEC, and the 201 are the best items on the menu. Minor annoyance is there is no place to sit, inside or outside.

From New Jersey & have been coming up to Lake George since I was little. Now my kids & husband are coming up and FINALLY a place that has good bagels. Seriously, they are amazing. We also love your bacon maple cream cheese. This past weekend we tried tried your Bacon Bourbon cream cheese & it was just as good. Also a huge fan of your chocolate chip banana bread w/ shaved coconut on top.
Wishing you the best of luck & success!!!

My friend and I ordered a regular iced latte and an iced matcha latte and both tasted pretty bad. My friend’s latte was extremely bitter meanwhile the matcha in my drink was not sifted or whisked very well. As a barista myself, I was mortified to taste and see huge clumps of matcha in my drink. I would not be able to serve that at my job. Bolton Beans had a better matcha latte and beverages aren’t even their specialty. Both drinks were extremely watered down and overall I would just not recommend. There are better places in town for a coffee fix. If you want good coffee and/or caffeinated beverages, we highly recommend Sunrise Cafe nearby Tops.

Additionally, the owner’s responses to any poor reviews left on here are always passive aggressive and unprofessional. We understand you want to defend your family-run business but not everyone is going to like your products and there will be criticism. Bitter remarks to your reviewers’ harsh criticisms only paint you in a worse light. Do better.

I've been cooking in Philadelphia for the last 15 years, and really love my food. Had the pleasure of stopping by on a vacation with my dog and wife. Plain bagel with cream cheese, simple and amazing! Crunchy, chewy, flavourful, damn. Maybe the best thing eaten in the last 6 months. Nitro coffee love it. Wife's croissant, egg and cheese as she said.... magical. Eat here.

If anyone finds a better bagel I’ll buy one for us both. Order in advance and save yourself waiting in line. Almond croissant is awesome every time.

Cinnamon rolls are a must have with any order. Bagels are right up to the North Jersey standard and the Bear Claw was everything you could wish for. We will be vacationing in Bolton Landing again just so we can come back here every day.

Being newly gluten free I was nervous about going to bears cup but I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised! The owner her self was so helpful and accommodating despite the busy morning rush! I got the Bolton sandwich but substituted a GF wrap which was delicious. I also took home a GF white & dark chocolate chip cookie which was unbelievable, as well as a slice of GF chocolate chip banana bread that was so delicious that I actually went back the next day and bought a whole loaf to bring home with me!! Overall they made this transition easy & delicious.

We have been there a couple of times. Always AMAZING food but the owner was extremely rude to us and her employees. We called first to place the order and she snapped at us because we weren’t aware that we couldn’t order through the phone. When we finally got there to place an order at bears cup, the owner was snappy again but to the poor girl taking our order. One we are there for a vacation and giving you business. Two the girl was doing her job and handling the line extremely well. We felt very uncomfortable as well as others waiting on the line. We also got what was on the menu, so it was simple and not a complicated order. It was pretty expensive, almost twice the price as a nyc for a bacon egg and cheese. Generally we wouldn’t care about the price because we love to support local businesses, but we don’t support rudeness and bullying.

To your response: I appreciate your feedback but it was not only me that was horrified by the way the she treated the employees and customers. People even left at that point. Please just be mindful of how you speak and interact with people. Everyone deserves respect no matter how busy the situation is. Also they should be grateful for the business they have, as many businesses are struggling. Based on the rude response I will have to put down another star. Unfortunate, because the food is very good.

If you’re in the Lake George area this is a must stop spot! Delicious pastries and bagels, everything is so fresh. One of the best iced lattes I’ve ever had and the nicest staff!
