Bear's Cup

I love Bear’s Cup! I’ve been a patron since the business opened and they never disappoint! The bagels are amazing! The pastries, cookies, and homemade artisanal breads are fabulous! Don’t be deterred by the line, it moves quickly and the staff is second to none!

This is our favorite go to breakfast stop! The bagels are the best around! We get a bear claw every single time we come because they are so good! Our go to coffee is a mocha caramel latte with almond milk! Every pastry we have ever had from here has been delicious! Super friendly staff and an overall great place!!

Coffee was strong as all hell which was great. The croissant was outstanding and fresh. The line outside was a bit long when first opening but understandable. Will definitely be back.

From the quality of their baked goods to the amazing customer service is the place to be when visiting the Lake George area. What really sets this place apart is that you can tell there is love in every single menu item. Everything is made from scratch in house and the baked goods are to die for! Now, the coffee is next level! The Cold Brew is one of the best I’ve ever had and they offer it in an CL version to really get your day started. Don’t walk but RUN to Bc the next time you’re in town, you won’t be disappointed!

The good news: it's probably the best bagel I've ever had anywhere (and yes, I lived in NYC for many years)
The bad news: welcome to the Hamptons! The line stretches to the corner even at the Opening (8am). You get to wait with droves of Manhattanites wearing Lululemon while they pump club music through the speakers. Finally, you get to the front where some girl wearing a faux-apron takes your order and explains that no, you cannot set foot inside the actual store (still Covid restricted after two years, apparently?). As a longtime Bolton resident, I was so happy when Bears Cup first came to this small town. But my, how quickly it has gotten too popular for it's own good. I will avoid it until the off season...

I rarely leave reviews but was left with such a bad feeling after trying Bears Cup that I decide to.
My husband, teenagers and I are always on the hunt for really good, authentic lattes, fresh pastries & sandwiches. After reading/hearing about Bears Cup we were excited, It sounded perfect! We heard it gets busy so expected the very long line and made sure we were prepared with our order. When it was finally our turn after waiting at least 20 minutes on line, almost everything we wanted was sold out! The person taking our order became very irritated with us while we kept trying to choose other things saying “ I need to keep this line moving!” As if I was going to have to forfeit my turn because half your menu was sold out!? Someone should take those choices off the menu if you don’t have them! We waited patiently on line to try your business as well as spending over $75 on food/drinks so after being spoken to rudely and hurried along really was horrible customer service.

Absolutely incredible. World’s best breakfast by far. Always up to date with something new, in season, and fresh. Simply amazing year round. My husband and I enjoyed our morning here last year after our wedding day in Bolton Landing and we’ve been going back ever since. To top it off, the owner is an unbelievably kind human being who made multiple donations to hospitals during COVID-19. Truly an inspiring business.

If it was on a 10 PT scale, I'd give this place a 10. We got 2 breakfast sandwiches. They were both amazing - the bagels are phenomenal! The chocolate croissant was the show stopper- SO FLAKY! Possibly the best I've ever had. If you're in the greater Lake George area and you don't have breakfast here you've screwed up! Will definitely be back!!!
