City Light is a wonderful place with fantastic coffee inspired beverages. Their cookies are some of the best in the city and they serve a rotating selection of homemade baked goods. The rustic, neat space is huge and can easily accommodate many groups while still allowing for privacy and not feeling overcrowded. It is a quiet and an ideal study/work/meeting place for college students or professionals. It also boasts an incredible mission. It is entirely non-profit and all of the proceeds go toward supporting the church’s efforts to help humanitarian causes and fight injustice in the city and around the world. There’s no reason to fight crowds at other cramped coffee shops downtown anymore. Take the short walk down Washington St and find this gem across from First Assembly of God Church. The workers are all too happy to provide all coffee drinks free of charge to college students, but why not leave a donation and support the cause.
This is probably my favorite coffee place ever. I always got this white chocolate mocha coffee, which they make hot on the bottom and cold on the top. It was to die for. I always studied here or the library. I watched a small local band play inside, it was so nice. I absolutely love this place. They are the nicest people ever.
Favorite coffee spot in Binghamton. Lived here for 5 years now and have been to many places. Good coffee, friendly people, fantastic atmosphere - a great place to just hang out for a couple hours with a coffee and muffin. Another plus, this coffee shop is both charitable toward the community and ethical - highly recommend.
Really great tasting specialty lattes (would recommend the hot mess or the smores). Chill environment with a good amount of seating available. Outlets are easily accessible from pretty much every table. Nice and friendly baristas. 50% coffee for students which is a nice bonus for students.
Need somewhere just to chill?? This is the spot!! You don't need to be just a college student to be there. They welcome everyone. I've seen kids in there too! They just don't sell coffee; cookies, cake e.t.c. Overall best place to come and sit in peace. A nice quiet place. Make a stop by!!
Cute space with plenty of seating and hanging outlets available for customer use. Staff is always friendly and not to mention free coffee for students!
This is a very comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. The service is fantastic. The coffee is amazing and, the bagles are the most light and fluffy i have ever had.

Free coffee for students is a lifesaver. I was greeted in a friendly manner and the bagels were great. The barista is a wonderful woman.

Very nice place for college students to enjoy desserts, coffee, tea, etc. while still a great area to get work done or meet up with people
