Coffee Planet Ballston Spa

Kinda rude. The guy who served the coffee was super nice. But the woman not so much. When I got my change back, there were no single dollar bills. I didn’t want to disturb him or the woman who was busy chatting with a friend. So I pulled out five dollar bill and put it on the counter, and began making change for myself out of the tip jar. Immediately the woman notices me and says sharply, “may I help you?” As if a person who is willing to pay five dollars for coffee was actually going to steal from the tip jar right in front of her. If she had taken a second to assess the situation, she would’ve immediately seen the five dollar bill on the counter. Here I am going out of my way not to disturb anyone and leave a tip, and she didn’t notice me until she assumed I was a thief. She also didn’t apologize when she saw her mistake. Top that off, the latte tastes bad. Won’t be going back.

We visited from Rochester and stopped by for breakfast before heading back. It’s a nice bustling coffee shop with quick service! The coffee was okay, I got an iced house roast. But man the bagels were delicious!!

I'll start off by saying I'm not a coffee drinker. However, on occasion I love the taste and always get decaf. Have just started going to CP recently and I'm hooked on their signature lattes and artisan bagels. Coffee is delicious and bagels are fresh. Friendly staff that always greets you with a smile. What a gem right down the road. Sorry it took me so long to get there. 😊

Best Coffee shop in the area; great staff, creative menu, cool place to relax and sip away. Kim and her team are always smiling and the coffee is superb. Visit often, I do!

Delicious foam filled capuccino with an assortment of sweetened flavored syrups to add. Even my favorite flavor lavender was available! Quaint little coffee shop on the corner in the center of town! The white cloud mocha was also quiet delicious and the original capuccino is great for those with a more bitter coffee palette

We found this place looking for new coffee shops to review on our blog. The place is in the perfect location in downtown Ballston Spa with lots of great options for parking. The store is clean and well kept with some incredible coffee memorabilia to ponder while waiting for your order. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the lattes were superb! We loved the richness and the low acidity of the espresso so much we took home a 5 lb bag! The menu is pretty diverse from breakfast sandwiches to lunch sandwiches and several different types of bread to choose from. The planetary theme of their sandwiches was pretty cool as well and I must say they were made perfectly. The meat was plentiful and the vegetables and bread were very fresh! We loved every bite! We had to try the pastries which did not dissapoint! This place is a definite must stop if you are in the area and looking for a relaxing lunch and good cup of coffee. Incidentally, the really nice woman who was ringing us up gave us a cup of cold brew coffee to try free of charge. It was so smooth and the perfect addition to am amazing meal!

Favorite breakfast spot! Delicious food! We got a breakfast sandwich and it was really filling. A lot of gluten free options and really friendly staff. We loved it.
