Stacks Espresso Bar

I really appreciate the outdoor seating especially on such a beautiful day. I usually don't order a cold brew from any where due to that earthy taste. I'm just not a fan. However. At Stacks, their cold brew is smooth, strong and very flavorful. I also enjoyed their blueberry lemon scone, which was wonderful with my cold brew

The breakfast sandwich was fine, the coffee was good. The problem was the bugs. I literally left there with lice crawling all over my clothes. I immediately went home and started treating it so the lice wouldn’t spread. Do not go here. You will get lice.

Very inconsistent. Some days I have the most perfect pastry and latte, other days I get a cold or burnt pastry with a cold or burnt latte, which can be a huge bummer based on how expensive this shop is. Having more highly trained baristas and consistent scheduling would probably solve this issue...

I was looking for a cafe to finish up my school work before heading home and this place checked all of my boxes :)

The staff were kind, seating options were plentiful, the natural light was refreshing, and they even had gluten free options which is ALWAYS a plus in my book. I will absolutely be going back!

I tried a new coffee drink today- a "nitro" cold brew. It's different- like coffee soda. It has a shot of nitrogen, hence the bubbles. I enjoyed it, and thought it was very refreshing on a summer day.

I liked that it was open on a Sunday. I did not like that it was out of oat milk, before 11am. If I’m spending almost 5 bucks for a coffee, I really wish it was the way I like it. And the service was slow.

Cortado made right. Cool presentation but Cheap beans.

This is only the second coffee bar I've ever given a 5-star rating after only my first drink. The cold-brew coffee was perfection. It's easy to make a decent cold extraction, but to make a perfect one takes expertise and attention. To have done so well on that drink means that the rest of the repertoire must be excellent also. Go to Stacks; you will not be disappointed.

The service is nice, and the environment is fabulous. Wanted to chill here the whole afternoon.

Very classy coffee shop. The barista was very knowledgeable and friendly! She took the time to explain to me their menu and educated me on some of their processes. I really appreciated the time. I ordered a latte and it was excellent. I’m sure everything else on the menu is as good as that! I highly recommend Stacks if your in Albany
