Review of KOKO Coffee/Deli/Carry-Out
KOKO Coffee/Deli/Carry-Out:
KOKO Coffee/Deli/Carry-Out is a cozy and welcoming cafe located in Taos, New Mexico. This cafe is a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious sandwich in a relaxed atmosphere. The cafe is open from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is closed on weekends.
The cafe offers a variety of food and drink options. They serve espressos, Americanos, lattes, teas, and other coffee-based drinks. Their coffee is delicious and is a favorite among many customers. They also have cool drinks in summer, including fruity green or black tea with lime juice and mint.
KOKO Coffee/Deli/Carry-Out has a wide selection of pastries and pies, including some gluten-free options. They also have thick, dense slices of regular and gluten-free cake, pumpkin, lemon-poppyseed, banana-walnut, and apple-pecan, and others. They have many delicious pies in a variety of flavors, including peach, apple, and cherry. If you can't eat gluten, you can order a gluten-free pie made and pick it up in a day or two.
The cafe has a cold case with good sandwiches, yogurts, salads, wraps, and sushi. They have some vegetarian cold options. They also sell quite expensive but delectable precooked meal items for takeout, great for when guests are coming to town.
The staff is friendly and welcoming. They are always ready to help and answer any questions you may have. The cafe is small, and tables are very close together, so no private conversations can be had. It's usually noisy.
Overall, KOKO Coffee/Deli/Carry-Out is a great place to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. If you are in Taos, be sure to stop by and check it out.

KoKos catering is top knotch! We called Diane last minute after finding her online. We had two breakfasts and one lunch catered for around 30 people. Her breakfasts were fantastic. The first day we had the breakfast burritos which came with muffins and a side of fruit for everyone. The burritos came wrapped, labeled, and warm. We also had a few millennial who of course needed dairy free/gluten free/ blah blah who she accommodated with some side dishes of eggs and chile. The second breakfast was the real star. We had the spinach mushroom Swiss baked fritatta. This came with HUGE croissants and fruit. On the evaluations after our meeting when we asked what everyone liked about the retreat everyone said "the food". I will defiantly use Koko again, and I look forward to stopping by her brick and mortar store sometime soon!

One of my absolute favorite places in Taos. The staff is friendly and always helpful, and the coffee is wonderful! If you live in Taos or are just passing through you need to check out this diamond in the ruff.
@ Terence Chang:I'm not sure where you were getting your information, I highly doubt you asked the staff about the food or coffee. All of the food is made at the Koko kitchen, true the kitchen is not in store; it is in another location, which happens to be very close to the store. This is so Koko can not only keep their store stocked with delicious, freshly made food, but also because their deserts are sold at Cid's Food Market, as well as allowing them to keep up with the catering jobs they handle. And the staff is always happy to make your drink just as you like it, provided you know how that is.
All around an amazing, must visit and wonderfully warm place to have some coffee, grab a sandwich or sit down for a mouth watering hot lunch!

I found this place a little over a week ago, and I've been back at least 5 times since then. The atmosphere is great, the food is phenomenal, the internet is reliable and quick, and the staff is so friendly. I have been to a lot of taos coffee shops, and this one is my favorite. They also have better hours than the other shops. I highly recommend Koko!!

Very good baked goods! Breakfast burritos are only ok, but great quiche, pies, muffins and breads

Koko Coffee has some of the best coffee in Taos! They also have a wide variety of sandwiches which they will warm up for you and other drinks. Their Kombutcha- is also reasonably priced right around $3. Drop by and get your favorite drink!!

Best coffee and croissants in town. Great service. Amazing soups, sushi, salads and mousse, pies to go. As a local I've been to all the coffee shops. Definitely my favorite.

Nice atmosphere. Great food selection. Very friendly employees but the cappuccino was the worst I've ever had. Very watered down. Sorry. Hate to give someone a bad review. Maybe I'll try again on a different day.

Great place to have a fresh healthy lunch. Cafe style. You order at the counter. There are several tables and they also ready made items for those in a hurry. Ideal for those wanting take out. TR

Just another coffee shop?
No, it's KOKO. What makes it different? Homemade pies, cakes, torts and delicious deli food...pasta salad, organic meat loaf etc. I just absolutely love thier Moca java, a fresh made breakfast burrito and hit the road on the way to work.

THE EMPLOYEES HAVE A CHIP ON THEIR SHOULDERS AND THE FOOD ISN'T ALWAYS FRESH. GO ELSEWHERE.
Update: i received an email from an employee or owner of this place in my facebook account so I went back only to find breakfast burritos past the expiration date.
I tried to be open minded but they failed again.
