Zayra's Café

My wife, 7 year old and I had 6 tacos, 1 burrito, and 3 regular ice cream cones and left stuffed and satisfied. We ate there yesterday and I'm still talking about it. I don't know what it is about the small tacos, maybe it's the salsa they provide in little cups to put on them, but I'm already trying to figure out how to drive through Springer, NM, again sometime soon. Oh, that we did all this under $25 certainly didn't hurt either, but I would have paid way more.

I'm so glad this place is exactly where it is. It's I-25 people! There is nothing out there! The green chile cheeseburger is one of the top 3 I've had, period. They grind and hand form the patties 3 times a day, great texture, great flavor, and the green chile is spot on!
I'll be back!

It's been 20 years since we were there, but I have to say that even though Minni's was open only in the warmer months, they had the cleanest place and great hamburgers. My wife and I were talking about it, just today, remembering - - and both of us remarked on how clean the restrooms were and how good the food was. BIG ice cream cones. The place was run by a couple of ladies who apparently were more interested in pleasing customers than they were in making money.. An exceptional experience in what we thought of as the middle of nowhere.

So amazing. The food is phenominal. We appreciate this place open during the winter. Thank to the staff who are friendly and kind and work hard to get food out quick. We love it here. From the tquitois to the Navaho tacos its amazing!!! Great place to eat and relax!!!!
