Stranded in Santa Rosa overnight due to ice/snow storm. Lucky to find an open restaurant! Attention to detail in both service and food preparation. Margaritas delish! Staff were plenty, efficient, and friendly. The hostess (owner?) had a bias of who got to sit first no matter your place in line… that was uncool. Would have appreciated an explanation versus her insistence. She held the upper card as McDonalds was the only other option… we opted not to buy any of the tourist merchandise in turn.

I would give no stars but then I couldn't write this review...the waitress was nice but this is the 2nd time I've eaten here and each time it's gotten worse. I ordered the burrito and the potatoes were way over cooked and some even looked rotten. When telling the waitress she told me they wouldn't remake it because I had eaten over half which I had like 3 bites but it's what ever. I will never eat here again.

I ordered the vegan tamales. I was offered green sauce or red sauce but I chose the green. Chips and salsa were put on the table. To me the salsa and the tamales had a kick. I enjoyed it quite a bit though. The pinto beans were good also.

The restaurant was busy, but the staff tried to adjust and worked well as a team. The chips and salsa were good, salsa was very good. I had a green chili cheeseburger and my husband had a green chili chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were very good and their french fries were excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant on the old route 66.

I ordered the green beef chili stew to go because I'm under the weather and didn't want to be around people. It was very good but the portion size was very small. I was told that if I had dined in. I would have received a large bowl for the same price. Hence do not get the green beef stew to go. Or you will be getting ripped off.

Chips n salsa was $4. Salsa was so spicy I couldn't eat it. Super small portion and neither was filled full for the price. Meal to go seemed like a small portion. Sides were only 3 bites each.

One of the only dine in places to eat in Santa Rosa. The restaurant was packed and, as with all places in this town, they were short on staff so couldn't fill all the empty tables at once. The wait wasn't bad...just 20 minutes. And they have a cute little souvenir shop to browse and kill time. The waitress and hostess were just the sweetest! And the service was fantastic once we got our table. Unfortunately, the food is just mediocre. I had the taco salad and it had zero flavor. The side of pico de gallo I ordered also had zero flavor. The meat on the taco salad was just plain ground beef. No seasonings. The food was fresh and hot, but it was just textures and no flavor. My husband had the patty melt and said it was really good. We heard the margaritas were amazing and they had cold beer. So maybe the foods just hit or miss.

Absolutely loved the store and the friendliness of everyone! Fun place with good food! Looked understaffed as our waitress was running around sweating profusely. We bought food, gifts, and even some of their homemade fudge! Lots of variety at this place. They even have their own beautiful cat out front!

Thank you very much Sydney for tending to us even though we arrived last minute.
The food was okay, as we did arrive last minute. It did have some flavor so no worries. I’m sure if I arrived sooner the taste would’ve been much more enjoyable for myself.
The service was great, the experience was pleasant, and the gift shop was a nice touch to a little town café. Didn’t check it out but that’s because we were in a rush.
I’m likely to return if I’m ever in the area again..
I got three beef tacos, added some of the salsa they provided which tasted in-house.. and I opt in the 99¢ optional sides, beans and pozole. It was all in all a much needed dinner for myself..
Thanks again you guys for allowing us to dine in last minute. You get 5 stars for that lol

Awesome Margarita and I suppose after the second Margarita you might say that anything would be awesome. But my chicken and shrimp fajita were fabulous.
