Travel Bug Specialty Book Store, Coffee Shop and Taproom

This is the coolest book store I’ve been in in a long time. As a geographer/map geek I freaked out when I got in there. Staff is super friendly too. Thank you!!!

I waited 13 minutes today for a drink and a piece of coffee cake. The woman couldn't "figure out" the register. I was the only customer there and she was the only employee. Once I finally received my drink she walked away and came back a minute or two later to ask if I needed something else. As in, the coffee cake I had asked for. She told me "Oh, people usually just get that themselves".

Service at Travel Bug can be excellent with the right people working, but there is never any consistency especially with their newer hires.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Excellent selection of maps, good selection of guidebooks and gear. They even have a coffee shop.

Awesome coffee shop/travel bookstore near downtown. Is small, cozy, quiet and it has a very extensive travel book collection, a hidden gem in Santa Fe.

Great travel store with expresso coffee and pastries, burritos w/o potatoes. Sit down at one of several tables. Many maps and books. Travel luggage and gear. Stand behind what they sell.

needed to charge my computer [mind you, as a paying customer] - the unfriendly staff informed me that there was absolutely no electrical outlet available in the whole place... and they clearly weren't willing to help in any way. bathroom was dirty, too... my first and last visit...

This is a great travel bookstore and coffee shop. This place is definitely the best map resource in the city they even do custom maps of Topo just for the area you will be in.

Incredibly cool shop for those who love to travel. You can find maps and travel guides for any part of the globe, all while sipping a freshly brewed coffee.

Such a cute little shop. Perfect for having a coffee, a pastry, and planning a trip. Or simply relaxing with good book in a friendly and cozy space.

Great books, great maps, friendly staff! The only plqce left in Northern NM that will print a custom map of anywhere in the USA.
