This place was off the chain! The blue corn chicken enchiladas with the green chili sauce was so delicious. The homemade sopapillas were the best I have ever had. I really enjoyed this little family owned businesses.

My wife and I just happened to jumped off the interstate to grab a quick dinner before getting home to Los Lunas. Great food, great friendly service, and very inexpensive. We will probably be going back to Milan, 2 1/2 hour round trip, just to eat at the El Ranchero Cafe. Thank you everyone at El Ranchero Cafe for the amazing experience

Super small town mentality. Food was decent... nothing to scream about. Dirty tables.... had to sit and wait for them to bus and clean them. Food was decent.... not the worst... but no where close to the best. That's all I have to say about the place.....

A great find on a road trip. The food was fantastic and the chili was on point. You won't regret a meal here

It was ok. Floor is dirty, cold inside. Had the enchiladas, combination plate & 2 others dishes. No meat or cheese on enchiladas and taco. For 4 people, $70, small portions. I would not go again.

Fun restaurant with Route 66 history. Good Mexican food and a drive up window. Not a drive-thru...you order ahead and just drive up. Kind of fun. We didn't do this but it was fun to see.

I absolutely love el Ranchero, they have one of the best carne asada burritos, I always get mine smothered Christmas both red and green Chile.. definitely a go to place to get your Chile craving

The lady that helped us and took our order was the best part about the entire restaurant experience. The food when we got home and opened the container made me lol, it is so small for 9.99 plus the rice and beans just look and taste bad. The chimchonga was the size of a frozen .99 El Paseo burritos from the freezer section of the supermarket. We had spent the last 5 hours driving in our rv and we wanted something warm and amazing. You can see from my photos what the plate started like and the next pkc shows how much I am throwing away because I just can't stomach it.
