Mayhill Cafe & Hotel

One of the few places that serves actual food. Super good in my opinion, what mom would cook at home type items. Small community and they serve food that big chains would never be willing to take the time to make.

Service and food were excellent. Took home a cherry/apple pie that was wonderful.I will be back.Very nice place.Everybody there staff and customers were nice,polite and welcoming.

Update - I don't know which trip was a fluke but I am not interested in going back to find out. The fries were greasy and grossly under cooked. We also did not receive good service.

First trip - We weren't sure about stopping in Mayhill but so glad we did. It is the perfect embodiment of a small town cafe. Friendly people, good music, and hearty, fresh food. We will stop by again.

If you want a beautiful drive go to the Mayhill Cafe, the food is great, the service is wonderful. I ordered a patty melt with onion rings, I am not a big meat eater but this hamburger is fantastic! I have been back a number of times and the onion rings and hamburgers never disappoint you must try this gem in the mountains

Awesome service! Nice, cozy, rooms. Would highly recommend and would stay again. And the food is off the chain! Would give 10 stars if I could!

Nice atmosphere, great staff. If Josh is cooking get ready for a great meal. Onion rings and green chili cheeseburger are the bomb!

I can't speak for the hotel, as I do live in Mayhill. But the cafe....awesome! Have eaten there many times and they have never let us down. And I usually take a sweet home for dessert. Bring your appetite, they feed ya good!

We went on a Friday afternoon to catch the Country/Bluegrass band made up of older locals. It was very entertaining and enjoyable as they aren't a "polished" band, just 6 or 7 locals in for a jam session. The food was very good and super inexpensive!

Traditionally celebrating my mother's birthday with family. Great food as usual.
