Great coffee selection. Not the cheapest but for sure better and more natural than Starbucks.
Reaaaaaly comfy

This used to be my absolute favorite spot in town. I could always come here for cool gifts, knickknacks, and all my coffee needs. The bright colors, political jokes, and amazing menu were what made this place so welcoming. Now it has lost all of its charm. It is bland, characterless, and just like any other “hipster coffeehouse”. I’m completely and utterly disappointed and will being taking business elsewhere.

This place is amazing. From service to food to ambiance. This is my new favorite spot. Hands down. Also, that cinnamon roll is life. And the latte was everything. Love it so much!!

Fantastic coffee and wonderful staff! So helpful and friendly. Love love love everything they carry and serve, got a beautiful turquoise ring here amongst other treasures and Lance was so knowledgeable and patient. Such a wonderful place to sip on your coffee and browse local art!

This had been my favorite place for unique gifts that you could not find anywhere else. It was a welcoming atmosphere and now it is cold and primarily jewelry and women's clothing. Not to mention the change to the cafe. No longer a fan. Quite disappointing actually. So sad to see the change in ownership also changed the vision. The name should have been changed so I wouldn't have been so misled that the shop and cafe were still wonderful.

This little coffee and gift shop was once the home to an array of unique gifts and great-tasting pastries. It is now a somewhat trendy, Santa Fe inspired, posh shop/ cafe. I understand new owners= new visions. I think as long as they're still named Spirit Winds they'll be constantly compared to it. In the end, it's a very nice and classy store it's just very far from what we once knew. Go there with an open mind and perhaps enjoy the lovely succulents and plants from nmsu and other things they carry.

Use to be one of my favorite spots.... to find unique gifts, such as jewelry and grab a cup of coffee. Went in the other day since it got bought by new owners. What a disappointment! The vibe in there is not the same. The place is blah with a southwestern chic to it. The inventory they have wasn’t even local... New Mexican like owners said it would be. More of a coffee/study place for college students. I will definitely miss the “SPIRIT” uniqueness of the vibrant colors, great customer service and all there unique gifts of the old Spirit Winds. Very sad to see this place I will not be going back.
Good luck!

What a gem of a find! Very friendly staff! Good chi lattes and the biggest moist muffins: mango was soooooo good. The establishment also has a connected gift shop with beautiful discoveries. A must go to for a chill and relaxed coffee break. They have not seen the last of me!

I have to wonder a little about what exactly this place has to offer. It's small and quaint, and well maintained, but it's doesn't stand out the way I was expecting it to before I went in the first time. The food and drink offerings are pretty standard and can be found all over town. More than half the place is taken up by a store that sells kitschy type things that you can buy online for a third the cost.
I understand why some people like this place, and hope they continue to do well, we all need to support our local businesses, but it's not really for me. That's why I went 3 stars, I don't want to put the place on blast when they didn't do anything wrong, but like I said, I'll stop by there for a quick drink or to meet a colleague, but it's not high up on my list.
