Cool place, food was awesome.

Best barbecue in town. I got the brisket sandwich. It was delicious and for the price it was a steal. Sandwich and fries for $10. It was an amazing deal. The barbecue brisket was very good.

I've also had a breakfast burrito here and it was delicious. This is my new go-to restaurant in Carlsbad.

Always delicious, always friendly staff, and always too much food but the leftovers are just a reminder of how tasty it was when we were there. The green chili sauce over my omelette, beyond incredible!!!

We went here with friends and I was debating between a couple of choices. I asked the gal at the counter what she would recommend and she told me about a new burrito that she'd invented that wasn't on the menu yet. I ended up ordering it and it was soooo good. Definitely will be eating here again. The only problem is that so many things sound so good...how do you pick?! I'll probably just order that same burrito every time because I KNOW it'll be delicious. Also, the people who work here are really friendly, so that's always a plus.

Driving through and found this gem! Huge menu ...and delicious food. Counter service, no frills and delicious food. The service was fast - they brought our food to the table. Easy going, kind and provide good service. We will be back!

Stellar employees here, very helpful and friendly! The food is some of the best in town. Burgers, Burritos, Sandwiches, Mexican food, it's all good here! Also have a great selection of donuts, etc. in the morning.

Add to that the picturesque views of the river, and this is probably the best breakfast/lunch spot in town!

The staff were excellent and cheerful. Food was very good and the amount you get is worth the price here. Waitress was very attentive and respectful. Would highly recommended.

Food was good. Loved the outdoor views, the inside could be a little cleaner. Staff was very friendly though. Tasty brisket tacos and nachos.

Huevos Rancheros "Christmas style" for the win! Spice was perfect, home potatoes were crisp and delicious. Staff went out of their way to ensure a great experience. Entrance is in rear of building, on water. Look for PJ&B banner and it's just past, on right.
