Blue House Bakery & Cafe

Such a lovely restaurant. It brings the small town, everyone knows each other, feel when you visit. My wife and I enjoyed it, we went for breakfast and the menu is straight forward and the staff is very friendly. Made things quite enjoyable for our visit to Carlsbad.

We had an excellent breakfast here and enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area jn the shade. Got visited by the resident kitty while we ate. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return if I ever find myself in Carlsbad again.

Excellent food and service. Had the croissant breakfast sandwich with green Chiles and bacon, the salsa was perfectly spicy. Latte was excellent. But the highlight was one of their scratch made cinnamon rolls. All enjoyed under the shade of a lovely tree on their patio. A great breakfast after a week of hiking the Guadalupe's!

The scones are the best I’ve had in AGES and the biscotti is amazing. The egg bowl needed some spice but it was tasty none the less and filled me up for hours of hiking. Very reasonably priced, portions are normal sized. Fantastic breakfast with a sweet grey cat for company

No 👎 body wants to be a waiting on the people there coffee is have to ask them to warm up in the microwave.because it's cold There portion of the food are small it's all about the money.

Wow. This place is an amazing hidden gem in plain sight. If you are in the carlsbad area or passing through this is a must for delicious breakfast items, baked goods, and coffee. Staff was amazing and will be going back on our way out of town!

Driving through this little town and found this wonderful bakery. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, the people and service - very friendly. I wish this place was closer to home. Only thing that was wrong is the breakfast burritos got mixed and one person didn't eat his burrito while the other ate two. If driving through would love to eat here again.

Super yummy food and delicious coffee drinks. Plus they have a local cat, Tarzana, and they take care of the neighborhood cats which is just purrfect.

The place was amazing! It was my birthday and the nice lady suggested I try the cupcake latte, which was so good! The staff is very friendly and the food, bakery and coffees were great! Highly recommend!
