Stumbled on this while looking for breakfast options in Carlsbad. Everything was amazing! The staff was wicked nice and the food was delicious. We got croissant sandwiches, a cinammon roll, and a hot chocolate all of which were fantastic. Highly recommend going here!

Hustle and bustle. This place is packed with customers for good reason. The service is fast and friendly. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very homey. Best croissants in Carlsbad, for sure!

I’ve been in Carlsbad for several days and eaten breakfast here each of them. Everything I’ve had has been absolutely perfect. The egg burritos are the perfect size and soooo good. I’ve tried different pastries every day, and have yet to be disappointed. And the coffee is just as good as the food. Even if you see a line when you walk in the door, don’t worry as they are incredibly fast in bringing out your order. And the people working there are very friendly as well. Trust me, it’s worth the short wait. Highly recommend this place when you are in Carlsbad.

Spent the night in the backseat of my truck after arriving in Carlsbad NM. Before my journey to explore some parks, I required some protein rich breakfast. I wasn't disappointed when I stumbled upon Blue House Bakery & Cafe. As I couldn't find a local establishment late night for dinner on the previous night, I was determined to get some local breakfast. I had a breakfast burrito ( with sausage & potatoes) which was the right proportion not to slow me down on my planned hikes in Carlsbad Caverns an hour later. My only regret was not getting some of their tasty looking baked treats to enjoy later in the day.
Sorry for the bad pics, but there were SO many locals there that all seemed to know one another & I didn't want to get the faces in the pics. As I ate alone at an outdoors table, surrounded by locals saying good morning & asking what took each other so long, I almost felt out of place, yet entirely welcome at the same time... But that can happen when traveling cross country alone 😃

Friendly people, always clean, always great food and coffee. You can't beat the raspberry croissants. Flaky, fruity, buttery, perfect breakfast item!

So Cute! 10/10! Great for a mild, sunny weekend morning. Bring a book or bring someone to chat with. Reasonably priced beverages and breakfast items. The staff is very friendly and quick. You won’t be disappointed!

My favorite is Mocha Fraps and I love all the bakery! And the oatmeal is so goooood!!!! Customer service is always awesome! Plus the cutest kitty baby ever!

Getting a windshield put in my truck and was told by shop owner about Blue House. This place is amazing. Glad to have found it and definitely will be back again and again

Food and coffee were great. Cafe cat was excellent. 10/10 would come again.
