Alto Cafe

Stopped here on a Sunday morning with a group of 12 on our way out of Ruidoso. They were very accommodating to our large group. The food was delicious, all 12 guests very satisfied. It will definitely be a place we stop while visiting from now on.

This was the best food of our vacation! We wish we had found it sooner, but we'll be sure to come back when we come through again. Our server Bruna was amazing, and honestly one of the best I've ever seen! Top notch quality in every way. Even our hearts were full upon leaving. ♡

We had a spectacular experience here! The place was clean, had friendly staff, food was reasonably priced and excellent tasting. Definitely would visit again and recommend others visiting when in the area 😃

Food was great! The hospitality even better. Showed up at 740 when they closed at 8 (hate doing this) but the staff were super friendly and insisted it wasn't a bother. Let it slip that tomorrow was my birthday and they even gave me a small piece of cake to celebrate! Forever grateful, definitely will come back.

Food is average at best. These 4 & 5 star post need to get out more often. Service is below average. Smiling unmasked faces with undertone of conceit. As previously posted no hairnets worn by kitchen staff. Prices are fair.

We absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious. By far the best breakfast in Ruidoso, NM. The ambience was great, and the service wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting.

We had the catfish buffet. The fish, okra & hush puppies were all very good. Tarter sauce was a bit too sweet, but we enjoyed our meal. Staff was quite pleasant. Will return.

We consider this one of the very best places to eat in Ruidoso and Alto. Reasonable prices, great food and a friendly and efficient waitstaff! Try the potato chips...they make them here!

Good home cooking. This place is a great place to stop before hitting the mountain, or a great place to catch up with friends and family. They have a lunch buffet weekdays, and dinner buffet Friday and Saturdays. Smaller place so it may be packed, but they love a crowd. From BBQ to catfish, plus all the comfort foods. Prices are not bad either.
