Alto Cafe

We sat there waiting on our food while others came in ordered, ate and left before we even received our meal. We noticed that 2 of our 3 plates were in serving window for over 30 minutes. Eggs were dry and like rubber, hash browns were cold inside. Never have had a bad experience until today. Was very disappointed 😞

Friendly environment, excellent service and delicious food! There were more chips in the basket but we ate them 😋

Great food and great service in an amazing location with very reasonable prices! Even more kudos to them for encouraging cash as well.

We recently had breakfast at Alto Cafe. There were four in our group and everyone loved their meal. Service was quick and prices reasonable. Our only regret was that we didn’t find it on the first day of our trip. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Cute little place! Great decor, homestyle cooking, friendly servers, fast food! I just would love to see a bigger menu, maybe a veggie burger on the lunch menu. Its perfect for a quick in and out, flavorful breakfast.

They have green Chile chicken Alfredo and fried catfish on Friday’s, and I’m telling you it’s a must try ! The service is awesome; you have to try this local cafe you won’t regret.

Rustic restaurant in a bucolic setting on the way to the airport. Good menu selections. Very laid back atmosphere with no one in any particular hurry. The sliced beef brisket dinner I had didn't cone with enough BBQ sauce and was very dry and chewy. Maybe that's what New Mexicans consider as good brisket. The beans side was overpowered with smoke flavor but I couldn't identify the type of wood used. Prices were in line. Not my first choice for lunch or dinner.

First time in Ruidoso, stopped by on my last day for breakfast. Loved it ! And the Cooks in the back had the Mexican song bangers going on!

A small, local restaurant with great food and service. Nothing fancy, but food made with love. I ordered the burger and was just prefect.

My cup stunk like dirty dish water!!!! and the waitress with short hair must not understand English well because she took my order wrong and her breath stunk i could smell it across the table!!! If only this were the worst of it the woman who wrang us up was rude and wait still not the worst of it we saw a roach on our table!!! Gross!!!! The are much much to expensive for what they offer!!!! Stay away !!!
