A nice coffee, pastry & ice-cream place in a plaza next to a cinema. I stopped here because my son playing tennis at the Nassau Tennis Club for a few hours, and I didn't expect there is a jazz band playing. I have never seen a band in a coffee place, but I enjoyed. The one thing they need to fix is the decor - need to relocate the refrigerator in the middle of the room that is taking away the sitting area so the bar space can be used, move the machines inside the bar, and utilize the back of the room space.

Asked for a double cone of chocolate with mint chocolate chip. The chocolate tasted like coffee and I am not a coffee person. I asked to switch to all mint chocolate chip. Girl whispered to guy “she didn't want the chocolate” and she told him to do one scoop. She told me I could throw my first one away. I asked if she was replacing my double and she said just the chocolate scoop. I paid for two. Tasted coffee. She told me to throw away my first but replaced with one scoop only til I insisted and she (not very nicely) put the second scoop in a cup. Bad attitude which made for bad environment.

I’ve been here about two times in the past couple of years. Every time I go into the cafe I get reminded of why I never wanna go in. This time around hit the spot for me. My friend and I had walked into the store holding my puppy, In my hands trying to order her a small ice cream. Two employees had already seen me holding her, In my hands. While another employee came out and started complaining to another employee talking about my dog. They kept talking until finally someone said something very nasty. I kindly walked out. My friends have seen dogs come in and out of cafe with dogs. Someone had said they don’t care for dogs. I just visited at the wrong time. Didn’t know I had to choose a right time. I guess you aren’t allowed to bring in emotional support dogs. TERRIBLE. JUST TERRIBLE. Another thing is how are you serving me ice cream and very disgusted with my dog but yet your scooping my ice cream without gloves on. It is Covid still. I don’t recommend going here.

Staff were very nice. Approve of the space invaders wall art. Small cappuccino had my heart pounding like a racehorse later. 10/10 would reccomend the coffee and macaroon I got.

Thomas Sweet, to put it lightly, is the greatest ice cream place on this planet, and we are blessed to live in NJ and be within 15 minutes of two locations.
I don’t want to tell you how to order, but if you order anything other than cookies and cream ice cream blended with peanut M&Ms, you are not achieving your own potential in life.

I stopped by the store tonight 2 minutes before closing time. The door was open and customers inside. I asked to buy 2 quarts of ice cream and the little girl behind the counter refused to serve me and was rude and dismissive. The last time I ever step into this overpriced and under performing store

Best ice cream in the area! Service is great and prices are reasonable. Plenty of seating indoor and out. I like to get a cold brew to go with my ice cream too.

Thomas Sweet Cafe took over Orpha a few years back, and moved in the Montgomery shopping center. The place continued Orpha's tradition to have live music and encouraging local photographers. They added their signature ice-cream and something good to nosh to the coffee menu. Today the place offers a nice atmosphere where you can lay back grabing something to eat and finish with a coffee or ice-cream, everything in a bohemian atmosphere. Have fun ☺.
