The Coffee Box

We ordered avocado toast,three cheese panini wrap, and couple of coffee. Their coffee was nice but the food was average. We visited on Sunday morning and their outdoor seating was nice and there was a small local band performing which made our morning.

I feel this place is hyped for coffee.
Tried the black drip coffee and caramel/hazelnut macchiato.

The ambiance is very cute. One can work and have breakfast or snacks here while working or chatting.

Would not recommend for coffee but I can recommend for quick catch up with friends or a change of work place

Excellent espresso! It’s always a treat to find a shop that takes the time to talk with a fellow coffee aficionado to discuss beans, brewing technique, and equipment. I love how they take the time to make the perfect shot. This type of shop is very hard to find, what a treat!

Quick stop for a nice hot green matcha tea & a hot chocolate for the honey. Tried the cheese puff pastry which made for a nice cheesy snack in the afternoon in Rahway, NJ. The interior looked cozy and inviting. Customer service was wonderful. I would definitely return!

Just left here for the first time and it was amazing! I had the fluffiest and most flavorful waffle! My cappuccino and my husband’s coffee were incredible! My husband had a forest ham and egg croissant for and he said it was so flakey, buttery and yummy!! In addition, we got to listen to some great music by Austin. This was an excellent find and we will be back!!!!

Food was delicious! By the time I tasted my hot chocolate it wasn’t as warm and I know that it was because I was too busy photographing it. Anyway, I’d definitely come back!

One of the best breakfast places.Very healthy and delicious dishes. Their salmon panini is a must try. Drinks are a little pricey but it's worth every penny. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice healthy breakfast.

The food and especially the coffee are a great treat. It can get a little tight depending the time of day, so plan accordingly.

We have been enjoying coffee box for quite awhile, some other local establishments may be a little cheaper but once you taste the coffees and food you understand exactly why, the difference in quality is monumental. The staff is always warm and pleasant is a relaxing and inviting environment. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is an understatement.

The community focused events and the Thursday night gatherings show how Coffee Box is much more than a coffee shop.

Our family has long loved the coffee box and miss their presence in plainfield.

Of course their coffee is great. But the atmosphere is comfortable and they really “do” customer service well. I also appreciate the owner’s commitment to community support and involvement.
