Jola Coffee

My husband and I come here often and we LOVE the coffee and sweet treats here. Great quality, and the staff and owner are all so pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and down to earth. Our new favorite coffee spot.

Very friendly owners with great care to serve the customers.
They have a limited menu that will change as the coffee beans are seasonal giving them a constant changing variety which we love.
Prices are great compared to some other coffee chain...
They also have some desserts and drinks like lemonade and more for the non coffee drinkers.
Parking is limited. You can park in their driveway and alongside the small building. As will parking is allowed in front on Bloomfield Ave., just be careful as it's a busy street.
They have Wi-Fi and look on the chalkboard for the current password.
We loved our first time there and will definitely be making future stops in when in the neighborhood!
Being a new place, expect changes and improvements on an already nice local coffeehouse.

I just went today, and I was pleasantly surprised! Not only were they open with all the snow, but it was a very cute, small coffeeshop, a great option for some fancy/artisan coffee. It's a little pricier than other coffeeshops I've been to, but not so pricy I'd put off going. I got the mocha latte, and it tasted + looked great! I like the little things about Jola Coffee that add to the positives I've mentioned so far; the two ladies who were working were very helpful, and made my mocha with a nice heart on top, despite me getting it to-go (usually, coffee places skimp on that if it's to-go....small detail, I know, but I liked it 😁). Another small nice detail I liked was the little green things you put in the lid to cover the hole so it stays warm to-go (which, after walking about a quarter of a mile in the snow, it did indeed stay very warm!).
Overall, it tasted great, had great presentation, staff was helpful, and the little shop looked cute inside and out! Definitely am going again, and will recommend it to my friends. 🤗

My review is mainly for the very poor service. The coffee here is decent only when the owner makes it and she’s not busy. Otherwise, it’s either burnt, lukewarm, watered down or missing other items that you have asked and paid for. This is called “speciality style coffee.” If you ask for it to be re-done, you will be yelled at and asked not to come back...that’s called “trying to make you happy” in their lingo. Terrific customer service from this “specialty roaster.” Please educate yourselves on speciality roasting including the attitude, precision and joy that goes into making these kinds of beverages. Otherwise, your coffee is just as nasty as your attitude.

Always a pleasure to be a customer at JOLA. Today, it was friendly curbside delivery from the owner! I am obsessed with their Blueberry Iced Tea which I can't get anywhere else nor duplicate at home!

If you're passionate about coffee you must give this place a try. The owners care about the products they choose to offer and the process that goes into making the best from hot and cold drinks, to fruit bowls and cookies. Something that's been missing and needed in the area has finally arrived!

This place is a gem! The coffee (iced and hot) is delicious and high quality and the service is even better. They have a way of making everyone feel special and that is crucial as a small business. Highly recommend!

Met the Owners. 1st time there, great experience. Cozy & Modern. Good Coffee. The scones are delicious. Wish I lived down the street. Definitely recommend!
