Grinds and Greens

It’s a cute little cozy place around the corner, with huge glass windows around for a nice view. Quickly stopped for a americano with lavender shot, it tastes good. They have lot of flavors in macaroons. The vibe of this place is spot on, highly recommended!!

Coffee wonderful. Pastry painfully delicious. Busy shop with one staff member who handled it like a BOSS! Sat outside after a stressful morning and am feeling refreshed.

After a friend posted about visiting this coffee shop on FB I decided to give it a go. First impressions - staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was diverse enough to offer breakfast and lunch options and the desserts were very very good. Coffee - barista recommended a lavender latte that was excellent (naturally given the season I also tried the PSL which was...one of the best I've had). Great location on Spring St. too with a few seats outside during nicer weather. Inside the decor is cozy but the rest of the shop feels a bit open. More seating down the road would help given it a warmer feel (and I imagine with their food/coffee options and the quality they offer they'll be needing more seating!). But this is a minor point and overall I thought Grinds and Greens was a lovely edition to Newton. I wish them the best and look forward to my next visit.

Love their coffee! We try to walk here whenever possible and these folks are incredibly friendly and hospitable! We love them!!

Always love trying cafès! Coffee/espresso/baked goods, they're all good! Personal favorite so far is the danishes and espresso!

This cute shop in downtown netwon. Service is amazing the coffee is awesome! Definitely recommend to get your coffee fix! They have oat milk as well! I got a cappuccino.

Has his employees calling me and my family n****s as they drive by....real professional. I called the police. Just want to live a peaceful life but this place won't leave minorites alone.
Also fake not friendly and rude. I heard they are expensive so you're better off going to Starbucks and Dunkin donuts 🍩

We came back again. The drinks were great. There was only one staff and he was working hard to ensure everyone was well taken care of!! He was very polite and maintained a positive attitude, even though it was a litte busy.

Love this coffee shop! I go here every chance I get and the staff are always pleasant to speak to and I appreciate how they put effort into having conversation with customers. Coffee is always delicious and I love trying new things as well. I recommend this location to literally everyone and will be recommending it to everyone I know in Sussex since I know they’re opening a second location there. 💚
