Colonial Cafe

1st time back since they changed hands. Coffee is fine, but the building needs to be remodeled. Atmosphere makes a good coffee shop and this place has potential. When a friend asked me what I thought about the place my response was, "Non-Descript".

Such a pleasant cafe. The coffee is quite good, I've had their cappuccino and Mocha Latte.

Even on a cool brisk Sunday morning I would suggest sitting on the front porch. The sun hits just right and its incredibly peaceful and quiet.

I look forward to going back to try a few pastries.

Cute cafe with light fare and delicious drinks. Good vintage vibe with fun, friendly baristas! The cheese danish and iced chai latte were delicious!

I have been frequenting this place for 8 months now - since I started working in the area - and I have never had less than an AMAZING experience. This place is cozy, the food is top tier, and every coffee drink is to die for. But most importantly - the employees make the experience. Caiti and Egon are knowledgeable, personable, and hard-working individuals. I mean, can we get these people raises?! My coffee is the highlight of my day, and with Caiti and Egon greeting me in the morning, the rest of my day is bound to be great. Thanks Colonial Cafe for being the heart of Mount Holly!

Really not interested in having a new customer today it seems. Walk in and ask simple questions about the menu, the worker points behind her and doesn’t say a word. When I try again and ask what the name means of a certain tea she just repeats the name of the tea. I say I guess I’m good then and won’t get anything, my friend who was going to get a drink as well decided to leave too since she was so rude. The building, atmosphere and area itself look like it would be a very cute space to enjoy a delicious snack and drink. Just wish there was some customer service to go with that.

This place is simple adorable. The staff is so nice. The coffee is good quality. Relaxing environment. I wish I could spend more time here. I pop in when I’m in town. My husband works out of Jersey.

Was showing relatives around Mt. Holly. Decided to see Mill Run. Walked passed and decided to get some coffee. Frozen hot chocolate, mocha and a seasonal coffee were all delicious . Prices were reasonable. Owner was super friendly and very knowledgeable about area.

Lavender oatmilk latte was 🔥🔥🔥 so fire. I also got a sausage, egg & cheese on a sunflower bagel that was equally delicious.

Ac was broken. But I stilled enjoyed it. Very personal knowledgeable on what drink making is about. Liked the area as well. Take a little walk near the canal.
