Java Love Coffee Bar

I absolutely love Java love. Everything is made with such good quality ingredients and the coffee never tastes burnt. They have a point system so you punch in your phone number and earn up to a free drink which I love nothing better then that.

The quality ingredients and sustainability marks (low impact/ ethical sourcing/ composting food scraps) really make all the difference. Staff and shop was very nice too.

My first time here today- Great little coffee shop with friendly staff and tasty treats!
My friend and I had 90 minutes of catching up to do, and no one rushed us (although it did start to get crowded, so we left our table for the next guests.)
Paid parking lot right across by the train if you can't find street parking.
May I highly recommend the Lavender Hot Chocolate with oat milk!

Hello, my wife can not have caffeine, I ordered her a decaf latte I asked at the counter 3 times please make sure it’s decaf , she said no problem, so the turn out was she made a caffeinated latte and it’s not good for my wife at all. I feel as if I can’t trust what I ask for at your coffee shop, there’s no difference in taste between caffeine & decaf but if you get the order wrong it’s not good for people’s health.

Taste is good and friendly crew! Got 2 ice coffees ! Only improvement is Straw! Please replace with bigger and more solid straws

Staff was very sweet, however my coffee was amazing could have a little more vanilla flavor.

This place has a great cup of coffee and the reason it’s rated 2 stars is because they make claims of having to hike their prices because of the current economic woes however you can get an iced latte as other specialist coffee houses in Montclair between 4 and 4.50 instead of up to 6 dollars. Feels like a price gauge more than a necessary business decision.

Low key local coffee establishment (one of two Montclair locations - 2 more locations are in upstate NY). Nice indoor and outdoor seating on Bellevue Ave. Friendlier and more laid back than the downtown location. Good iced coffee and extensive syrup selection. Easy to go coffee en route to train, or as a location for an alternative to working from home.

Java Love has become a usual stop before a morning park walk. I will always come back when I have a good service experience and I’ve never been greeted with anything less than the best here (no matter how frazzled I feel). I love that they roast their own beans and are environmentally conscious and will fill up my reusable cup- this was the first time I asked in an effort I reduce my own waste. I’m not enough of a connoisseur to say where their roasts rate against others. What I can say is that the seasonal creations are a great way to try something new and exciting. Also, any coffee store needs to have a selection of pastries and sweet thing to drink with a black coffee and they do! They have a selection of croissants as well as a nice variety for those with special diets and healthier options like chia pudding. Mmm!
