I probably should have read the reviews first. $7 for nothing but a single slice of ham and single slice of cheese slapped on half toasted bread. A child could make this. $7 for mediocre coffee. Definitely not coming back and I don’t leave reviews like this. There were also flies hanging around on the menu. I can see why someone found a bug in their coffee.

Best coffee shop in Milburn! Great coffee. Good pastries as well.

Cute coffee place in Millburn! They have indoor and outdoor seating, I had the match tea latte and liked it.

Incredible espresso and pastries. Witty & friendly staff, cozy (and not overwhelming) decor, and perfect music

This place is definitely the best around. Plenty of coffee drinks selection and large menu for smoothies and baked goods. I tend to buy the whole beans and they always make the best coffees. Always lots of selection for the whole beans (they also have organic options). The owner is a great guy and is always willing to help you out if needed. He lets me in on how he makes his coffees and such.

Cute place in the inside and they have a nice little patio out back. 10/10 would recommend for a friend.

$8 for this rock hard kunefe. Likely been sitting out for a while.

The barista was amazing he was so nice but the owner doesn’t give the tips to barista’s. That is terrible!!!!

They make their own Baklava and Kataife. Their version is what we call in my culture "1000 years old." It's been sitting around soo long you can't even bite it. Baklava is a mushy old sweet thing but might have been ok 3 weeks ago. Can't even taste the nuts anymore. So sad

This is the second time we've tried this place. Unfortunately each time the service was super rude and slow and the food mediocre or just not good. It's such a shame because the location and shop is quite charming.

One of the rudest, inhumane business owners I have met in my life.

Picture this: almost 7pm on a Sunday, not much time left until the coffee shop closes. The tables on the PUBLIC outside space "claimed" by Coffee Mill Roasters are completely empty. No customers AT ALL. I sit down to have a quick bite, clearly not bothering anyone. The owner comes out quickly, reprimanding me for using a table. I say fine, and move away to a bench.

5 minutes later, two young girls sit down at a table to eat as well (again, ALL 7-8 tables claimed by the Coffee dictator are empty). Of course, right away, the little man comes out flying like a hawk and shoos the girls away so that they cannot enjoy their bite.

How can a great community like Millburn/Short Hills tolerate such inhumane behavior is beyond me. The world should be about compassion and tolerance, not a small angry owner protecting public space for himself just out of a jealous principle.

I would never recommend this place and encourage people to stay away from it until the owner starts acting like a human being.
