Great place to stop for lunch! The turkey BLT was delicious, and the peach pie was AMAZING! Service was friendly and quick!

Happened to go to this place on a nice sunny afternoon! The place is just amazing, very traditional, has the antiques look. The food is very fresh, and tastes really good. The portion size is what I also liked about this place. There's a stream behind the parking area, and has some nice picnic tables and lake. All in all, i will visit this place often.

We love eating here. Omelets are great, home fries too. Delicious coffee. Country atmosphere. Very homey.

The service was great. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly, patient (3 small kids) and very accommodating.
Looking forward to another family breakfast.

This place is an Amazing family run restaurant. We stopped in with our dogs and ate outside. They immediately brought our pups water. Everyone was so friendly and the service was amazing. The food was great too!! Out pups enjoyed their roast beef lunch!

My name is Jaymes and I am a local here in Lafayette that lives right down the road and this place is FAMILY to me on the inside I have been coming here all my life and is probably the best Date you can ever bring someone to have and the don’t get me started on their foood some of the best around in opinion and I’m very open about where I eat! 5/5 stars for life ❤️❤️

A very quaint old style eatery. I have been disappointed in the food. I have eaten there twice. Once for breakfast when I ordered a veggie omelet. When I cut into the omelet water flowed out. The second was for lunch and they served truly stale potato chips on the side. Small details make a difference. I am tempted to try it again each time I pass by but decide not to.

Important! This is a cash only business. It would be nicer if they'd get a c.c. machine.
The soup is always good, as are the lunch wraps and sandwiches. It closes weekdays at 2:30. They are actively cleaning the place up by 2 pm. I think they're open till 3 on weekends
Don't ask for decaf after 1pm. The owner doesn't want to "waste" (her words, not mine) a whole pot.

One of our favorite breakfast stops when traveling through this area. Fresh ingrediants make for exceptional omelets. I particularly like the Spanish Omlete that comes with a small cup of salsa that brings it all together. The breakfast potatoes are tasty and served with the skin in them (which I like). The rye toast was well buttered and very hardy. My wife got the organic wild berry french toast. Very good, with 6 pieces of bread (3 slices cut in half) smothered with fresh organic blueberries, blackberries and cut strawberries all around and topped with fresh, real whipped cream. Worth the $12 in my opinion. Service was nice but the wait to get your food is rather long as the kitchen is small. But it's worth it. Sip a Mason jar of their fresh homemade lemonade and take a fee minutes to relax. Just remember, cash only.

I love this place. The food is delicious and the service is awesome! Love their Arnold Palmer's... I've had lunch and breakfast here, you can't go wrong with anything here...also the ice cream cobbler is really good
