I want to start by stating the following fact: I was not asking for something not on the menu. Boro Bean receives 2 stats from me due to their customer service and lack of accommodation. This has happened twice now, and quite frankly I am very annoyed - the first time, I simply asked for an extra serving of chicken salad on the side. They said no. Today, my second time I asked for just chicken salad. Again, no. So I end up having to pay $8.75 for a salad with chicken salad on top of it.
WHY? I don't want the bowl of mixed lettuce or the tomato slices - I just wanted the chicken salad. Why was Boro Bean unable to accommodate my request? It would have been easier and cheaper for them to hand me a bowl of chicken salad as I wanted, rather than make their entire bowl of lettuce and half a tomato.
The only reason I didn't give one star for this lack of accommodation and good customer service, is because the food is good. Seating is cramped, the decor is lacking, but the food is good.
Cute coffee and lunch spot on the Main Street in Hopewell. Their ice tea was more expensive then I thought for the size. We sat outside which was really noisy because of the many large trucks that are constantly passing by and hitting a pot hole right in front of the shop. You’re better off staying inside.
A decent coffee option in town. The person who seems to be the owner (a bald guy) was fairly unkind, on two separate occasions. However, they have nice coffee and great ginger bread :-)
Product is mediocre. The two on register were very helpful. The barista was a pill. Tried to mansplain how to make the coffee. Making off hand rude comments. I run a coffee shop and wanted to try something local. Never again.
We were there for the first time while visiting family from Pennington. The service, food and staff were fantastic. Very friendly, at home feel place, like sitting on your own porch or at your own breakfast table. Baked good were excellent as well as our paninis' and Quesadilla. The cook even came out to say Hi and inquire were we happy. I'd go back for sure!!
Quaint coffee shop with personality. Focus on the details and service. Cory was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. My light and sweet coffee reminded me of washington heights bodegas and the hot chocolate was topped well with whipped cream and syrup. The apple cider muffin was warm and welcoming. I will certainly be returning the next time I am in the area and try some of the other food choices.

Average coffee and over 20 minute wait for cold food with microwaved eggs
Lots of nostalgia here that keeps bringing people back. Don’t waste your time.

Classic local staple of Hopewell Boro. Always dependable for a great coffee, as they use Small World Coffee roast. Also good to grab some quick food
