The Griddle

I travel all over. Best omelette I’ve ever had. The chef/cook is very conscientious with presentation of plates of food, too. Server was friendly and on the coffee refills. Best stop in a long time!

Great breakfast! From Virginia spending time in Winnemucca for a death in my family and The Griddle has become our go-to breakfast place. Super friendly staff and great food.

This is a classic American diner. Good hearty breakfast food and always getting your coffee topped off.

The Cobb salad was really good, tons of blue cheese both on the salad and in the dressing. Beef dip was just ok, the meet was sliced thicker than I like. The au jus was tasty. The fries were not good at all, very soggy. The ice tea was never refilled. The men’s bathroom did have the paper towels stocked. The women’s bathroom didn’t have any toilet seat covers. One waitress kept yelling at others in front of customers. With a few small changes this meal would’ve been much better.

Great food and staff. Food arrived very quickly, within 10 minutes of ordering. Good portion size too. Everything was cooked properly and plated nicely. Toast seemed to have very little butter on it and it was kinda chilly inside the restaurant temperature wise. Still give them 5 stars though!

On a motorcycle road trip across I-80, stayed in Winnemucca and was looking to do breakfast. What a gem! The staff was plentiful, ALL were engaged and very attentive! Sat @ the counter, had the two egg, hashbrowns, toast, coffee. My cup never got below 3/4 full and the meal was delicious! This place is WELL worth the stop if you're in town! *UPDATE* Came back through on my trip and the restaurant was closed due to a kitchen illness, I was SO sad! I do certainly hope all are doing well and can open back up soon.

This place is such a great diner experience. From the friendly waitstaff to the delicious food to the family atmosphere, The Griddle is an experience. The gluten-free pancakes are tasty, the eggs are cooked just right, and the hashbrowns are perfect- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I wish I'd had more breakfasts to eat in town, so I could eat more of them at The Griddle.

Nice price. Excellent food. I ordered Caribbean French toast and it was sooo good!! Definitely recommend whoever wants a great brunch.

Amazing food, the bacon pecan crusted French toast and the breakfast tostados are incredible
