I spent 75$ on 3 breakfast for pick up. Tipped $10 the Pecan French toast didn’t come with anything at all but 2 slices of bread with some pecans burnt to it. No butter or syrup no hashbrowns etc… wouldn’t you expect your 25$ French toast would be incredibly delicious with a buffet to follow? The other 2 meals were cheaper and came with eggs sausage bacon hashbrowns and pancakes and they even got butter and syrup. The girl buys and flys gets burnt ! Winnemucca steals your money anyway

The service was fantastic, the staff is very friendly. The food was wonderful. I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of maple sausage -- heavenly. Definitely recommend!!

Corned beef hash was fantastic. Coffee was great, just straight drinking coffee that knows what it’s about. Highly recommend. Eat here and feel your sadness retreat.

Food was pretty good. I ordered fresh orange juice which they have a fresh squeeze machine... which they must do early in the morning and fill glasses... because when I was there at 8:30 the pulp and orange water had separated like oil and water...I would prefer them to chill the oranges an give me really fresh orange juice. This must be a family owned restaurant because the family members couldn't stay off their phones. The food was really fresh and really good as if the parents owned the place and let their dead beat kids work there. They say the right things, but never really care. When the parents are gone this place will nose dive. Someone is afraid to tell the young kids to get off their phone and pay attention to the customers and make money.

Food came out fast even though they were busy. Food tasted great and all of the staff was nice and attentive.

This place looks like it may be a local favorite. When I went there to eat a little after 11 a.m., it was packed and I could barely find a place to park. It is on the main drag in Winnemucca so, if you are traveling, it is easy to find when you get off the freeway. Just keep going straight down Winnemucca Boulevard.
The interior of the restaurant is done in wood paneling and period lamps, many of them featuring stained glass. It is a pleasant environment, though I did not find the chairs particularly comfortable on my bad back. Will try a booth next time. There are two dining rooms, plus outdoor dining, so there appears to be plenty of seating.
The Griddle is only open until 2 p.m. everyday. They specialize in breakfast and lunch and give you both menus to peruse. There is a wide selection of breakfast foods, of course, including waffles, French toast, pancakes, and all manner of eggs and omelettes. They also have burgers and salads. They even have some interesting looking things like Benedictine on crab cakes. They also make many of their items, including the blueberry muffins, from scratch. Unfortunately, there are no vegan options in this place (well, maybe a salad) & no meat substitutes, such as veggie burger. I ordered an omelette with spinach, feta cheese, and tomatoes. It came with hash browns and an option of seven different kinds of bread. I went with the cinnamon raisin bread. How often do you get that at a restaurant? The slices were very small but it was a nice change. The omelet and hash browns were also delicious, though I felt the omelet was missing something.
The service at this restaurant was very nice. A waitress who was not even on my table noticed I was out of water and brought me a fresh (and larger) glass.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for most people. I took off one star for the lack of vegetarian options. Other than that, I found this place highly satisfactory for a small town.

Awesome place! Awesome, friendly service!
We’re picky eaters and I can say this is one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had across the country! Simple and delicious!
The hash is homemade and full of flavor, the bacon was perfect! The fresh squeezed orange juice is a must try!
Love that the hollandaise sauce is gf! (Hopefully they’ll begin to carry a gf option for toast so I can try the homemade jam on the tables)
The fruit I ordered had turned (as it sometimes does in the fridge) but they happily exchanged it with a bowl of the BEST, freshest, fruit I’ve had at a restaurant!
We are so satisfied with our experience! Thank you for the passion and heart you guys put into your food and business!

Friendly staff! Great food! I bet it was 30 years ago since I was last there, hasn't changed much maybe the outdoor dining area is new. The decor inside makes you feel welcome and relaxed, I especially like the stained glass lamp shades ! Back in the day I think they used to make us brown bag lunches maybe they still do?

Fantastic local breakfast joint, super fast service especially for the amount of people eating and waiting to be sat. Strongly recommend the chorizo eggs benedict. Fantastic!

The food, service & atmosphere here is honestly outstanding! Stopped in both ways on a cross country trip & this was easily one of the best meals we had along the way. So delicious! Our waitress was was very attentive & the service was fast all around. Very clean inside with options to sit at the counter, a booth or a table in a sun room. Reasonably priced as well. Definitely will return on my next trip through.
