Cafe Aquarius

This gets a four as my husband gives it a 5 and me a 3. Comfort food, plentiful. Could do a lot worse. We had open face turkey sandwich. Can't complain. Breakfast was good too.

We ate here between breakfast and lunch time. It took 40+ minutes to get our food. Both spoons on the table had dried food on them and the eggs were undercooked. Our server did do her job well and we were happy with her.

Come to Aquarius 1-2 times a month for business travel for the past 3 years. Normally eat at Outback in the evening and the Cafe Aquarius in the am. Usually food is very good and service friendly enough for a casino restaurant. Don’t know what the hell happened today. I ordered a Spanish omelette with no cheese and a side of fruit. I was the only one in the restaurant waiting for food as two other tables were finishing up. Food still took 20 minutes and Spanish omelette was missing Spanish sauce?? How the hell do you leave off the Spanish sauce on a Spanish omelette. Waitress didn’t even notice. Waited for her to come back around and after a few minutes she came back and apologized and took it back to cook. A few minutes later she brings back the same omelette with a dollop of microwaved red sauce on top of a now MICROWAVED omelette. I didn’t eat it and took the bill up to cashier and told her and she apologized again. I paid and left and will never come here again. Wow, what a joke.

The food is okay. The wait makes me long for a Saturday at Costco or business at the DMV. They are super short staffed and with Covid protocols they have about 5% of the restaurant open. I will never opt for the "breakfast included" option again. It is a waste of time and basically a scam. And if you aren't a VIP guest you will see a parade of people pass you as you wait for a table. I watched people on the same line as I was in to be seated come, sit, eat and leave before we were seated. Over an hour long wait is not unheard of. It is a joke and a waste.

We are hear and staff was very pleasant and helpful BUT BEWARE of the over stuffed burrito; it was AWFUL!!!!!!!!! DO NOT order it. Salads and sandwiches were good

Take out food was okay no complains, the reason for the one star review is the following:
Got the promotion in Aquarius for the 20 dollar credit for breakfast each day I stayed. I asked the cashier to charged me 20 dollars to my room since Aquarius refunds you that amount and I asked the cashier that the rest I was going to pay cash. They charged me 30.96 cash and at checkout I notice a charged for another 30.96 to my room. Basically I had to pay twice, I tried to have Cafe Aquarius helped me but they told me they can’t do anything about it. This definitely left me a bad taste in my mouth. I hope no one else has to deal with this because this is worse than stealing.

Had Eggs Benedict which were delicious, but the Hash Browns were so salty we couldn't eat them. Told the waiter & we heard him tell the chef's to easy on the salt! Our waiter & service were great!

Even in these crazy times, service was excellent and food was good. Prices have not increased much either. Always a pleasant experience to eat here when we stay at the Aquarius.
