First time here. Beautiful 70° weather so we asked to sit outside they said no outdoor dining today. Nice atmosphere. Great food. Server Lauren was super nice. Ordered the Ruben and Lauren recommended I get the potato chips. Great recommendation. Both were delicious

I’m kicking myself for not trying Eat during my past trips. I’ve always seen good reviews and even ate at Chow several times before it closed.
We met Chef Natalie when we walked up. We ate inside. The restaurant had a good vibe. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, shrimp and grits with added cheese. I also ordered the cinnamon biscuits with fruit to try out.
Coffee was fresh as was the orange juice.
The biscuits and gravy really good. The gravy was excellent, fluffy biscuits, and bacon with it. It all tasted really good. The plating was really nice too.
The shrimp and grits were off the hook. Creamy grits with cheese and shrimp. The salsa topping combined well with the egg and bacon. Absolutely delicious!
The cinnamon biscuits were incredible. I was expecting something sweet and gooey. These were almost French toast like with a little
Sugar and lots of cinnamon. The berries and fruit paired very well with the dish.
I will be coming back the next time I visit.
I had the opportunity to chat with Chef Natalie after our meal. I thanked her for the delicious meal.
Go check it out and go Eat!

SUPER delish brunch spot! Everything tastes like it’s from scratch and freshly made. We had the deviled eggs, tomato soup, and the truffle egg sandwich. All of it was outstanding and the service was great! The place also has a great vibe!

Superb experience. I ordered biscuit and gravy with bacon and 2 easy-fried eggs. Service is excellent and food came out fast and hot. Food is delicious. Perfect breakfast to start off the day. Price is also very reasonable.

This is an excellent brunch place. It is popular, so come a bit early for brunch (10-11ish was good for us). The food is absolutely stellar, with amazing taste, portion, presentation, and price.
Unfortunately, they are not the most flexible with their menu. I ordered the pancakes with strawberries and tried to replace the sausage that comes with it with another non-meat protein like eggs, and they refused. The food was still good and they didn’t charge me for the fruit as I didn’t get meat, but the lack of flexibility was a little discouraging.
Despite that, that was the only downside I can come up with. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere vibrant but not overly loud.

Today started with breakfast at EAT in downtown Vegas. Small local joint serving breakfast and lunch.
I had the special, Chicken Benedict with citrus hollandaise sauce and my friend had the biscuits and gravy. The Benedict came with spinach, fresh tomatoes and perfectly poached eggs, not to mention chive potatoes.... Sooooo good. The Benedict is only available on weekends. The biscuits and gravy was delicious as well, but my friend had to switch her meal to pancakes as some herb in the gravy did not agree with her. I tasted it and loved it and would order it.
The pancakes were fluffy on the inside with nice crispy edges and she tells me the in-house prepared maple syrup butter mix was amazing! (sorry no Pic of the pancakes)
Definitely worth a visit.

Really enjoyed the food. One of the best brunch/breakfasts we have had. Truffle sandwich, biscuit and gravy were all good. Highly recommend the devil eggs.

Cute little restaurant.
The food was delicious and the portion sizes were big!! The breakfast potatoes best potatoes ever. The breakfast sandwich was a bit greasy but very good the tomatoe soup on point. Service was great and the place was clean. There was a bit of a wait on a Saturday morning for brunch but they do have misters outside and an employee came out and asked if anyone needed water so they take care of they customers. Will be back for more and you should certainly try them out

We visited this black owned establishment on Friday, September 9, 2022. We didn’t make reservations prior to and I don’t believe you can do so. We decided to come to this restaurant on a Friday morning. It’s not open earlier in the week. The restaurant does have cooling misters right outside of it to keep patrons cool. Vegas has sweltering heat this time of year. Upon arrival we entered the restaurant and it was modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. We did see the owner chef Nina Young sitting right outside the restaurant when we arrived. She seemed to be quite casual and down to earth. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and able to be seated immediately upon arrival. We got a nice table right by the kitchen. We were given paper menus which were on a clipboard. Customers can flips from one page to another to view all the menu items. From the menu options, it does appear they have some new creative dishes on the menu. This includes prime rib hash among other Southwestern cuisine inspired dishes. Our waitress came right over shortly after we were seated and was helpful in assisting us with menu options selections. We did see the owner also come in and grab some sandwiches. I believe these were for a catering event. She did have a restaurant called Old Soul, but I don’t think that it’s open to the general public anymore. We ordered the following menu items: Pomegranate iced tea unsweetened, Short stack golden brown pancakes, Strawberries and blueberries, Thin cut pan fried pork chops, Deviled eggs, and Truffled egg sandwich. The drinks came out first. The Pomegranate tea is only sold as unsweetened, so I was able to sweeten it with sugar. The tea had a refreshing authentic pomegranate taste and I greatly enjoyed it. It also comes with free refills as well. The food came out about 20 minutes after our drinks. We received our pancakes first. The pancakes had lightly crisp edges and were pretty delicious. They also add butter in the batter, so we didn’t have to add any butter to these pancakes. They paired so perfectly with the syrup provided. The porkchops were seasoned extremely well and had a light crispness to them. They were savory and so perfectly cooked. The pork gravy that came with them was also quite delicious on top. It tasted like a creamy based gravy. My boyfriend greatly enjoyed the Truffled egg sandwich. He stated the mushrooms were cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. The bacon on the sandwich was also nice and crispy. The potatoes were perfectly crisp and seasoned well also. The pork chop plate did come with potatoes and eggs. The eggs were scrambled well as I requested and perfectly cooked. As my boyfriend stated, the potatoes were quite crisp. They didn’t contain any of the mixed vegetables that can make potatoes soggy. The Deviled eggs were fried and very tasty. This is the first time I’ve had fried Deviled eggs and they were quite delicious. Their Deviled eggs come with jalapeño salsa, which gives it a bit of a spicy kick. The portion sizes at this restaurant are pretty amazing. You will definitely get full off of your food. My meal even came with fluffy toast, but I wasn’t even able to eat it. I was so full off of my main courses. This restaurant has very efficient service and the staff is very professional. I was able to use the restroom without incident while here, which was clean. All of the food was delicious and we greatly enjoyed ourselves. I really wish that Old South was still open so we could’ve patronize that business as well. I think Eat. as a restaurant is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. It is one of its best kept secret. I would love to return to this establishment when I come back to Vegas to try some of the other dishes. This restaurant has a steady flow of patrons that come in and out. I see why their business is good. They also have a lot of people that come in to order to go orders and pick them up at the bar counter area. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone in Las Vegas that wants to try some great food with a wonderful atmosphere.

What a great break from the Vegas lights and a glimpse into culinary yumminess! You have to love a place that was randomly playing Purple Rain when I walked in! I had the Two Eggs with bacon and potatoes and coffee and toast and it was $17. Some of the best bacon I’ve ever had—and I’m from the South!!! The rye toast, equally amazing! Highly recommend jumping one block off of Fremont and having a GREAT breakfast. Then you can head back to the craziness that is the city that never sleeps.
