Depot Diner

The Depot always has great food for a decent price. The staff is always friendly and a pleasure to be around. Especially Nancy, she has such a great personality. Every time I go here I know no matter what I decide to try it'll be delicious.

Good food. Super friendly staff. Inside casino only separated by 1/2 wall so you do get a little of the cigarette smoke smell.

The Depot is underrated. The Potatoe Soup and Black Jack burger mmmm some of the best food I've had in this town. If you enjoy slots, they have many new machines and a nice layout; I was impressed even though I don't play slot machines.

I like this place for dinner because it’s laid back and old Nevada. If you want really fast service or fancy food, this isn’t the place for you. If you just want to get a burger or one of their specials for dinner and aren’t a fussy person, you’ll like it. The prices aren’t bad and you can go play some slots after you eat.

Fabulous menu for a small place in a small town, great biscuits and gravy, not salty as some can be. poached eggs were cooked perfectly.

Overall the food was okay. Wait time was a little long and like most casino restaurants the smell of cigarette smoke was very strong.
Our waitress was awesome and very attentive and quick with the refills.

Generally the food is good here, today was the exception to the rule. It took 10 minutes to wait on me and another 20 minutes to get my food. I ordered a pancakes cake sandwich with sugar-free syrup. I was informed there was no patty sausage so I took a link. When the meal arrived I was pouring the syrup on the pancakes and noticed it was not sure free it was regular syrup. So the server took my plate back to the kitchen and they remade the order. When I got the next order all look good until I started eating the sausage and it felt like they just taking it out of the refrigerator and put it on the plate. Kitchen manager was nice enough to cut my meal as he should have. Server was excellent except for the syrup. However, she took very good care of me.

Food was decent, price was fair and portions were ok. The intial service on the other hand was horrible. Nancy was non attentive to our needs and actually snapped at my mother when she acquired as to the status of our food. She seemed to lack any real personable skills. Yvonne on the other hand went out her way to try and accommodate our needs i.e. drinks, condiments and such. We've been coming here for 20+ years but probably won't be returning after today. What a shame that one bad apple could spoil the bunch.

It is ok. Not fancy. Service was slow this day. Has all of the old Southern Pacific railroad stops, their name signs, displayed throughout. Rustic atmosphere.
