I usually get coffee from here, it is quite good, however, the way it is made is not consistent, I guess it's dependent more on who makes it. Just have to make sure you include all the details on how you want the coffee made, then I think consistency will stay.
The environment is very pleasing for a relaxed person. If comparing to starbucks, then it's far more relaxing.

Loved it! Nice kitschy vibe without overdoing it. Great staff...pleasant and friendly. Coffee and muffin was good. The menu has more options other than coffee, tea, and muffins as well.

Good coffee in a cute, eclectic cafe setting. The bagels and breakfast sandwiches are delicious. We stopped here on our way though town and are so happy we did!

Delicious "East Coast Bagles and Lox"! The caffeine is pretty bomb too😋

Had an iced lavender honey latte & it was delicious. Very eclectic shop. I didn't get any food but it looked fresh & tasty. They seemed a little under staffed when I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon.

Located across the street from the Nevada State Legislature building, this delightful cafe harbors an eclectic mix of art, and books with an atmosphere that commands creation.
I am from out of town and love off-beat, non-corporate cafes. Comma Coffee, offers delicious espresso drinks at reasonable prices. An atmosphere that is fun and funky, but not overly loud, or over bearing. I had a delightful time doing my homework here on a Monday afternoon.
I ordered a Chai Tea Latte, and Mary Jean Praline drink each exceeded expectations.
From the wall to wall art, and hardwood floors to the cozy chairs if you want some delicious coffee and space to relax I'd recommend making a trip to comma coffee, for a pause on the day.

Maybe the only coffee shop in Nevada that feels like Portland. Multiple choices of organic coffee, plenty of space to spread out on couches or tables to pull up a laptop and work. Breakfast sandwich was perfectly fine. Highly recommend if you hate Starbucks as much as I do.

Their coffee is great. I feel like you could order just about anything here. It's a pretty quiet place with a unique style. I've had multiple business meetings here and the staff always seem pretty cool about it.

My husband and I were in Carson City early yesterday morning, we drove down there from Reno to get our Land Rover fixed at a particular shop. Having nothing else to do for a few hours my husband and I decided to walk the downtown historic district. Might I just add, it is a beautiful walk by all the historic buildings and old saloons, especially early in the morning there is no one around, or perhaps this is how it always is in Carson? Anyway my husbands love off all things coffee led us across the street to Comma coffee where we were both pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is great! Very relaxed and inviting, there were several other patrons enjoying both food and beverage but it was very quite throughout. We were greeted immediately after entering by a very sweet brunette, this didn't seem at all like she had to welcome us more like she wanted to, which is always nice. Having ate breakfast before heading to Carson we were both still rather full and were only interested in a basic house coffee for my husband and a tea for me. Our total came to four dollars and some change, having no cash we needed to use our debit card. This is where I am displeased. To use a card of any sort apparently you had to have a minimum five dollar purchase, of course this was agitating because all we wanted was drinks. So reluctantly we purchase a bagel to split, with this and the card fee our total was now seven seventy-five. There was an ATM, but it also had a larger fee so the bagel seemed the best route. We prepared our drinks at the small station which provided milk and sugars and sat at a nice table near the front window. My husband, who attends coffee tastings regularly was quite pleased with the coffee, the blend he chose had hints of caramel I believe and he stated it was a very nice blend. I also was very pleased with my English breakfast tea, and the mugs were a larger size, I enjoy that. Our bagel was delivered to our table quickly by the same pleasant brunette but it was slightly disappointing. It was a spinach asiago bagel, we were hoping for some large pieces of spinach and melting asiago cheese unfortunately it was not at all like this, more so the type that is mixed into the dough and lacks the real flavors of the cheese and spinach. It was good, not great, your basic bagel. I heard good things from others about other food options but I cannot speak of that because this was our first visit and the bagel was all that we had. My husband was hoping to get a refill on his coffee but approaching the coffee bar we both noticed a sign on a jar that read "Coffee refill 50 cents. No, seriously refills are 50 cents, have you seen the price of coffee these days?" While I can appreciate that they feel the need to charge for refills, some coffee houses do, some do not while you are still sitting in the establishment. We frequent Java Jungle in Reno, who allows an unlimited amount of refills while you are sitting in the coffee house. Even Starbucks allows for free basic coffee refills while you are in their stores. I thought Comma Coffees approach was a bit odd but however they want to run their business is their choice. We had no cash or even change on us so we left it at that. I was hoping one of the staff that saw us boggled by the jar would say it was alright to get a refill, but this did not happen. I cant help but wonder how much coffee from the coffee station they end up just pouring out anyway? Unless it is allowed to sit all day until empty it seems odd they would not allow patrons to have basic coffee refills while still inside the building. So all in all the drinks are great, the service and staff was great, atmosphere wonderful. It was the whole money situation/inconvenience that caused the three not four stars from me. I think if we chose to stop there again or recommend it to friends we will just be sure we or they have cash on hand.
