Gema's Cafe

Good food, friendly people, good price too. Try the Pollo Diablo! See image appended. The little cafe has a homely feel. And they serve excellent cappuccino too!

Gema's Cafe was a pleasant surprise!!! We were able to sit at a sheltered table outside, after having placed our order inside. The enchilada sauce on my eggs was homemade and the fresh fruit side order was FRESH!!!

Nice food in this small town. They seems are family own small business. I ordered Vege Sikllet, it was taste like my mom made!! They have bathroom but not very good condition.

Great place to eat!! Fresh food and friendly service 🙂 Also has a big parking space ... lots of room for RVs and large trucks semi’s etc.

You cannot expect much from this place. I chose to dine in because I always support small businesses in small towns. It is very difficult to survive for these people but this place needs a complete renovation before one of the walls fall into the road or something else. Food is okay. I would go there again if I'm on this road.

Like other reviews have mentioned here, I think we were unlucky with our waiter. Not sure if he's the owner's son, but he clearly didn't want to work and couldn't be bothered to offer a decent service. He was pretty rude and very slow overall. Food was nice, fresh eggs and fried potatoes were really tasty. Shame about the attitude though, as place could feel quite homey otherwise.

Hands down the best place in town to eat. The staff are very friendly and all the four breakfast dishes we tried were really good. A real gem in town.

Food was good! We had breakfast and both meals were good. Skillet better than the eggs Benedict. I'd you're looking for a small town Cafe, this fits the bill.
