Our hostess was pleasant and took good care of our party of six. However, we experienced two glaring disappointments:
1) Two of us had to change their preferred entrees because the previous night's staff didn't slice the beef, so roast beef sandwiches weren't available for anyone during the entire next day. The waitress understood the gravity of the situation and joked that she wouldn't be surprised if we chose to dine elsewhere.*
2) I ordered the "Chicken Fried Steak" because it sounded like an intriguing alternative to Country Fried Steak; however, as tasty as it was I realized the meat texture was more dense than poultry usually is. When I asked our hostess about it, she explained it's "FRIED like chicken but yes: it's beef." Since we were having REAL steaks elsewhere that evening, this added further insult to our dining njury experience.
*Note to the manager or menu writer: Please consider an update to the entree description as "Chicken-fried steak" or "Chicken FRIED (beef) steak". We have chosen to dine elsewhere for a little less 'excitement' and more certainty.

Decent diner. Burger was on the small side. Bacon was legit, not paper thin. Onion rings were small. Server never came back to check on me for a refill of my coke. Overall ok.

Had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and it was really good and for dessert I had German chocolate cake so moist it was really really good my waitress super nice super good I would definitely be going back again

Food was grease but good, no delivery so I walk over, snow and all. The price seem high for the 1/3 hamburger NEEDS MORE MEAT, other wise get the cheaper one.

A old greasy spoon truck stop with the areas greatest comfort foods! I frequently stop because I believe it's the last of the great ones. Parking Lot is NOT perfect. The C-store doesn't have the most options. But it's perfect for me. Coffee is always on point. I have never had a bad meal here and the service always comes with a smile.
